it's so worth it. p.t. is fucking insane. you should probably play it without really knowing much about it though.
I couldn't watch it past the part you start talking about PT because the fucking hallway alone is damn scary. The way they did the image quality, this film grain (I think?) kind of blurred effect from a camera or whatever it is, it wreaks of horror to me, and from what I hear, its balls to the wall terrifying.
And this is me saying it, after finally getting past the Ju-On game part. I'm terrified of that movie and I literal went "nope." yday at night when I was watching this and the part with the door came up.
PT honestly didn't scare me that much at all, I managed to immediately and correctly guess that [sp]nothing was going to happen with the creepy fucker standing in the hallway[/sp] and everything else was pretty standard horror fare. It's still an amazing experience, but it didn't scare me as much as [sp]FNAF did. I know it's some flavor of the month garbage, but I've never felt so anxious in my life.[/sp]
I tried to download PT from the sony store, but after making an account the page won't show up at all. Says the address is incorrect. Is PT not allowed in Britain for some reason?
I think you really need to mellow out a bit with the way you speak. Use your excited tones to emphasise the things you want to emphasise, and try to speak in a more reserved way when you're building up to those moments. It'll give the video a better flow. Especially when you're talking about something like horror games, mood is important, and there have to be high points and low points in monologue.
It's clear you've got a lot of good ideas and understanding though, keep that up and I look forward to seeing what else you have to offer. Maybe you should try doing a game you don't like next? So far it's all been brimming positivity and praise, and that's fine, but variety is always good. Seeing you take a game apart and talk about what's wrong with it and why would be a nice change.
I understand what you mean, but I am not going to be doing a game I don't like. Probably not ever. And if I do it'll be quickly and to better illustrate positive points in another game. I'm personally sick of seeing dissections and games people don't like and I think there's enough of that around. Like, it's literally fucking everywhere. I'd rather talk about cool games and talk about moments or segments or concepts that I thought were awesome. Being positive is really the goal here, and I think almost everyone else would agree. I appreciate the feedback, but if I do variety, it's not going to be in the form of dissecting games like every person who's ever did a video about a video game ever in the history of YouTube.
If you really want variety, maybe you should stick around for one of my next videos. I'm not always going to be talking about video games.
Well, both of those, definitely at some point.
But I'm not always going to be talking about media. There are some things I'd like to talk about.
Hey man, if you're low on ideas; maybe you could review Martian Gothic: Unification. Maybe not, but hey if someday you're low on ideas when you're big on YouTube it could be something you could do.
