Does anyone know any ways of building upper body strength?

So I'm a climber which means I need a lot of upper body strength for pulling myself up for when I have to get up an overhang and I was wondering if any of you knew any certain exercises or routines to build up the upper body strength I'd need to carry on getting better at it. I'll also need it for lead climbing aswell which is the next thing I will be doing.

Well I have a couple of things like that, I'm looking for a big set of exercises to do, I have: Crunches, Pull Ups, Press Ups, Dish Hold and Invert Hang on rings. I don't think what I have is enough though thats why I'm asking people on facepunch, thanks.

I don't know much about climbing, but this site seems okay[/QUOTE]
Thanks man, this seems really helpful I'll give these a go.
You don't need a million exercises, just pick a few basic ones that work the muscle groups you need and get proficient at them
pullups will undoubtedly cover most of your bases.
do da bent bress pniggesr
Bench press, lat pull-downs, pull-ups, curls, etc.
It's not that hard. Just lift heavy shit.

im doing lat pulldown until im strong/not fat enough to do pullups. what the deal
The mechanics of it make it easier and stress less motor units due to that....
Also, do eccentrics on a pull up bar / use a chair... + lost fat.
