Wait a second, I said Jimi Hendrix was better, but the Beatles are still amazing. For every "Purple Haze" there is a "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"
Not only is Hendrix one of the greatest guitarists/musicians of ALL TIME, but he's also Black. The Beatles did some neat stuff, but goddamn, Hendrix could tap some ass, play a sweet-ass riff, eat breakfast, then melt your face. His covers actually improve music and are almost entirely original, even for being covers (All Along the Watchtower is one of his most famous songs, even though its a cover)

I like both, but I like Hendrix better.
They're both good in different ways, comparing them is retarded.
Voodoo Child
I fall under the "Doesn't give a shit and probably never will" section.
Hendrix, he plays guitar wif his teef, son
Justin Bieber.
Beatles
The beatles have been and always will be, at least in my opinion, the best band in history, Jimi Hendrix might have been capable of raping you with the vibrations from his guitar, but he simply didnt have the same material as the beatles.
It's stupid to compare the two, but I prefer listening to the Beatles.
I never really got into the Beatles, so I'm gonna go with Hendrix.
Beatles are sooooo overrated. They're good, but not that good. Hendrix too. But he's not as bad. Anyways, real British rock comes from Pink Floyd.
Wut is bettar? Secks or f00d??????
Beatles, but it's a REALLY close call.
Beatles are sooooo overrated. They're good, but not that good. Hendrix too. But he's not as bad. Anyways, real British rock comes from Pink Floyd.
Hendrix isn't really overrated.
Wut is bettar? Secks or f00d??????
More or less.
They're both great but I said Hendrix.
Beatles because i never listened to jimi hendrix and i get pissed off when someone asks if i am related to him (My last name is Hendricks)
Be enlightened The Beatles made great hit music, I think Jimi Hendrix contributed more to music in his short time than the Beatles did in their 10 years.
Beatles forever.
Fuck yeah, I have the mono(white)/stereo(black) collections. Personally I don't like Rubber Soul, I think their white album was the best or maybe even Let it Be, but I am the minority on that one definitely, I don't count the black album (past masters) since that came out during the 80s or I'd definitely choose that one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dsz4dB6DuM broke my automerge :( [editline]10:24PM[/editline] Comparing the two is still dumb. People have preferences.
Another great Hendrix song.
Jimi Hendrix, his lyrics were just pure genius.
He didn't write most of his songs.
fuckin can't even compare them they're so different both

And First Rays of the New Rising Sun is my Hendrix favourite, pretty sad he died before finishing it, but what was released was great.
Band of Gypsys > Beatles > The Jimi Hendrix Experience imo Live at Woodstock and Band of Gypsys are clear winners in the Hendrix catalogue, Noel Redding was a piece of fish
Beatles ftw [editline]06:11PM[/editline]
Anyways, real British rock comes from Pink Floyd.
I love you.
Hendrix because his band wasn't a gaggle of wife-beating overrated attention whores. He was still a druggie who's solos were 25% ugly screeching.
