I have to go with Hendrix.
Hendrix. Hands down!
Both I can't decide they're both too great!
I hate the Beatles and like Hendrix so...

Can I pick Bob Dylan instead?
Bob Dylan's pretty rockin too. I don't understand how anyone can not like a single Beatles song. [editline]09:51AM[/editline] If you don't I respect your opinion kekekeke
beats.
Hendrix isn't really overrated.
Neither are The Beatles.
Hendrix.
The two artists are completely different genres. Sure, some songs might have a similar timbre, but in the end The Beatles have so much variety you can't compare them to a single artist. They seriously had so much fucking variety I sometimes can't believe it. Classic rock, pop, psychedelic, Indian, country, folk, experimental, power ballads, metal... The list goes on and on.
I'm currently listening to The Beatles LP, side c.
The Beatles have so much variety you can't compare them to a single artist
Why is it that the ONLY truly inspired artist from The Beatles was John Lennon...? Mccartney is still an icon, but Lennon is in a league of his own compared to him he goes with the likes Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan......and Jimi Hendrix John Lennon made the beatles what it was, have a listen to his albums Imagine and John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, absolutely groundbreaking stuff made just after the band were broken none of the others had the true beatles spirit in them after the band broke up except Lennon I should've really made a thread about John Lennon vs Jimi Hendrix, but that would've been ridiculous........ RIP
I like revolver better than rubber soul.
I like revolver better than rubber soul.
I prefer: 1. Rubber Soul 2. Revolver 3. Abbey Road 4. Sgt Pepper's Band the others just don't compare to those albums... these are the ones truly worth having an original copy of
The White Album and Let it Be. Get Get.
You could of posted something better for the Beatles besides "You Won't See Me". I would of gone with something from Sgt. Peppers or Revolver, since that's more on the level with Jimi.
The White Album and Let it Be. Get Get.
The White Album is an example of the band's creative genius like say Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" or Marvin Gaye's "Here, My Dear" Those albums are just perfect enough in their own respect, which means that in my opinion I cannot class these albums up against their other work...... the epitome of The Beatles are on the White Album, doesn't mean that its their greatest album. Weird, but oh well :/
