Did an experiment when I was in high school. It's not bull.
This is quality posting at its best. God bless
Luckily, I'm in one of those cities where the tap water is darned decent.
I've heard the tap water in Pensacola, Florida is the worst in the nation. >.>;; Anyone care to verify?
don't drink bottled water period

My water is so chlorinated you could fill a pool with it and not have to do anything. Some days it's better than others, but we have a Brita water pitcher and yes it does make a big difference. Water actually tastes refreshing after it's been through.
I never understood people who buy bottled water. Chances are there's a sink within ten meters of wherever you are. Water comes out of there for free. How the hell is bottled water so popular?
We have a well. I like my unfiltered well-water.
Tap water is fine.
I prefer Tap water...
Likewise, fuck water filtering I say.
I just get my water from the refrigerator.
Safe water doesn't taste
These filter things sounds great for people who lives in cities/poor areas where the water is stuffed with chlorine and other chemicals.
I can proudly say I grew up sharing a well with my neighbour and this was clean and fresh water with only the minerals in it you'd expect to find.
The tap water where I live sucks some ass. It tastes exactly like the ocean, only without salt, and even when frozen into ice, it tastes bitter. Then again I do live about 2 football fields away from the gulf
Water in Sweden is so clean that you can drink directly from the tap. :buddy:

Meh, canned water is much better, it's like "Dr. Breen's Private Reserve":

Shit is all just pointless, water is water. The difference in taste is minimal and mostly exemplified by the fact you're told it tastes better. Besides, I drink my water out of a cave. Like a real man.

Most places I've been to you can drink straight from the tap. When people say that the water 'tastes far more refreshing' once it's been past the filter are you sure it isn't just your mind playing tricks on you? I only ask because water really tastes of very little to me anyway.

Well at least the cave isn't full of shit to make the water taste bad

It's real. I didn't believe it myself until I tried it. There is a big difference between my regular tap and filtered.

Actually there's a lot of acid in there.
I like the taste of dirt in my water. I'm not sure why. But I hate the taste of rust or any other metallic taste in my water.

Real men know the difference between good water and water full of shit
Fun fact: Evian spelled backwards is naive.

Those are obsolete up here in Scotland because our Brita filters are called 'big ass volcanic mountains'
Well water rapes anything else when it comes to taste.
What doesn't kill you--
And why such mundane topics?
I prefer to freeze and thaw tap.
I want one of these, the water bottles are getting expensive.
OP has convinced me to go out and buy one and god DAMN I love this thing.
