i just use a filter/cooler tastes the same as brita and can be cheaper some times
Never tried this, but i bet its just a trick that makes you think it tastes better just because they said it did :downs:
We got a Brita jug a while ago after we had some heavy rain that made the water taste like dirt (mmm, top soil) It got rid of the taste of dirt, but once that cleared up it tasted exactly the same as plain tap water (not really surprising since it filters out particulate matter, not chemicals like fluoride, chlorine, etc.)
I do admit, water that is filtered does taste better than tap water.
I hate the taste of tap water and bottled water was getting a bit expensive
Bottled water IS tap water...
I've been using brita filters for 2 years now. They're awesome :buddy:

The bad thing about filtered water is, is it filters out the nutrients that are commonly found in tap water. But, for taste why not, I saw those filters that make like raspberry water too. I want that.
I use reverse osmosis. It is superior to all. I bought this Brita filter about two weeks ago that attaches to my Tap, it has different settings to add X flavor, such as Watermelon, Strawberry, and Banana, it tastes amazing.
Commercial says its good. So its good.
In my country if you drink tap water, you die. :frown:
I have considered buying one of these before. I find myself drinking about 2-4 litres of water each day and I just can't get enough of the stuff. But it still won't taste as good as natural spring water. There's this place I went to once where they have a pump that gets it fresh from the ground and it was fucking delicious. Has so much calcium in it that it actually ceased their small waterwheel and covered it in a thick white layer where it built up. If you put a coke in it, it will filter everything but water out of it.
Filtered water is godly.
See this? Go die in it. (User was banned for this post ("flaming/trolling" - RawRKat!90))
It's funny because he told someone to go die in a fire and he got banned for flaming. Anywho, I watched all 8 minutes of that video DaveP posted while drinking Aquafina. I can't stand Dasani or Aquafina, but tap tastes worse to me. In fact, the only good-tasting brands to me are Nestle and Zephyrhills. I do feel like shit about wasting all this plastic, though.
Filtered water is godly.
But then Jesus goes and fucks it up by turning it into wine.
I've tried these, honest to god I prefer tap water. Just tastes... better. And bottled water is for self obsessed pricks. It's like it's a friggin' fashion accessory. On a side note, the flavour filters DOES sound like a cool idea for tohse with spair money.

The tap water in Thailand is absolute shit. We need those 3 stage aluminum filters to filter all the shit out of it.
I like my water with parasites. Fuck filters..
I've hated all tap water since we moved away from Yellowknife. :( Brita brought me back to drinking water, before I always drank diluted Ice Tea.
I practically live in the Norwegian mountains, so I got an underground water source that's filtered through several layers of rock and earth. HELL YEAH, WATER.
What's wrong with tap water? :<
Water treatment plants typically use chlorine to disinfect the water before it is distributed. However, they leave a little extra chlorine in so that the pipes are also disinfected and so that the chlorine can last all the way to the farthest reaches of where they send the water. For this reason, people who live close to the water treatment center often complain of the slight taste of chlorine. Additionally, the OP's pipes could have a buildup of rust in them or something, so that you get a bit of that taste as well.
Can they filter urine out of water? Please test this.
