Getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled - anything I should know?

Hey, how old were you when you had to pull them out? I am kinda afraid I will need too, because they are growing.

It depends how fast your teeth mature.
The dentist will do naughty things to you while you're down and tape it.
you have to pay 2500$ to pull out 4 of your teeth? come home to me and i can do it free, the pleasure of your scream of pain will be priceless muhaha
I still have a black eye from the operation.
how the fuck?
You're going to want to blow your head off with a shotgun. Good luck man.
how the fuck?
The dentist must've missed with his "tool".
I still have a black eye from the operation.
Did he rape you during the operation or something?
Don't sleep with your favourite bed sheets. Your mouth will be bleeding more than a woman bleeds on her period.
Haha I remember when I broke my nose and my nose bled on my favourite shirt.
Bottom line, green shirt became red shirt. And I'm not overreacting. You should see the trail of blood that's left even 6 years later at my elementary school. Looks like something out of a horror film.
What surprised me is that I wasn't suffering from any concussion and only slight dizyness (hey, mild bloodloss, what are you going to do)
Edit: If anyone wants to know how that happened, I ran really fast and accidentally budged into someone chasing his ball, knocking me flying face first onto a supporting wall.
Edit2: I ran away from my "best friend". Best thing about my "best friend" is, now that we go to separate high schools I cut every single connection with him, and happily living a life without an unneeded nerd sticking to me like a stray dog
Edit3: I was really lucky the way my face hit the wall. I was perfectly aligned against the wall when it happened I guess. Because even though my nose bridge bone was broken, it was still in place.
Edit4: I can now bend my nose around 180 degrees until my nose tip touches my nose bridge without feeling pain.
Edit5: Wow those are a lot of edits.
Anything you should know? H'yeah, it's gonna hurt like fuck, buddy.
i laughed harder than i ever have in my life when they put a mask on me having me breathe shit in
I had them pulled, and I didn't even feel any pain afterwards. I don't know what you guys are talking about.
You get lots of opiates. Mmm, delicious hydocodone.
Pop them like skittles.
Sounds like fun, can't wait for mine :D
[/sarcasm]
But if I don't use all of them i will save some for that night of boredom.
It's really nothing man. Don't be scared at all. Enjoy your vicodin for about a week after you get it done though. You'll probably want them.
I have 14 Cavities and 3 Root Canals, will it hurt?
[Not kidding either, I never brushed my teeth when I was a young lad, and never went to the dentist until recently]
My god like 90% of the population get their wisdom teeth pulled.
you will puke from the pills which make you dizzy and sleep like an asshole drink cranberry juice that helps with the puking
I'm having mine pulled because, apparently, they're causing a shift in one of my teeth that has a filling in it. When I eat/drink cold things with that side of my mouth, a few seconds after I get a sharp pain for as long as said food/beverage is there. I don't think that it's my wisdom teeth, I think it's just a fucked up filling.
Hahahhaha my x-rays don't show wisdom teeth so I won't get em n________n

Also to deal with the pain they gave my LorTab which coincidentally my dad OD'd on for his back pain. Wonderful.
That stuff is garbage.
I feel sorry for you. Vicodin is about the only pain killer I have experience with actually working.
I got such a horrible rope burn last week, trying to dock a boat, that my hand was covered in blisters and I still had to take the boat out all day. I popped a few of those and within an hour I was able to steer the boat without feeling like I was going to die.
I'd suggest them, highly. They're also very cheap if you're getting them legally. About the same price for a bottle of 30 as 1 sells on the street for.
It starts to hurt real bad around the time you get home, so pop those painkillers quick. For me my tongue and throat felt dry like sandpaper, and when I tried to swallow things (even water) I couldn't, the shit just dribbled down my shirt.
Did you have gas or something?
I doubt he'll get that with IV, but I totally know what you're talking about. Any time I've been knocked out with gas I had a horribly sore throat.
Oh fuck I just got mine pulled today. I still can't feel anything cause my mouth was frozen, so everything is numb.
But tomorrow fucking morning, when the numbness is gone.. Hell begins..
Tell the doctor it hurts really bad. Save the medication you get prescribed, and take it later. You'll get like Valiums or something, profit. My sister got 4 of hers taken out, they damaged a nerve in her ear, and she has permanent hearing loss. The bad thing is, it happens quite often.

I'm scared cause I get the feeling I might have damaged a nerve to.. but nothing serious.. not to sure...
zomg
Edit; Yay the bleedings stopped and its only been like 5-6 hours since the surgery. Maybe 7.
Time to go grab some more ice cream
I had mine pulled about a week before Thanksgiving. It was a bit hard waking up enough to actually stand up, and it bled for a few hours after surgery, but otherwise it really wasn't that bad. I still have a full bottle of vicodin that I never took.
Why the hell are they putting you to sleep for that? With my dentist they just numb your mouth.

Some dentists give you a choice between numbing, woozy pills or full blown knockout.

Because they're force-pulling teeth out. That would hurt several hours after the procedure, so they put you on Anesthesia.
My dad almost died from an infection he got from having those teeth pulled. Well, actually, he was allergic to penicillin.
The only teeth I got pulled out where my canines. My vampire powers are gone :c.
Wasn't bad though, just some swelling for a week or 2. I suggest you buy slimfast drinks, cause they make you feel pretty full and you don't need to chew anything.
One of my wisdom teeth was coming in sideways, so they pulled the rest of mine out (they had pulled one out before to fill a hole in my jaw)
All you have to know is that painkillers are your best friend, and don't do any sucking (straws, spit, penis, whatever) for a while, it'll mess up your stitches and then you'll have to go in for more (not fun D: )
