i got mine pulled without drugs i cried for 42 hours
Why do people have them removed anyway? I read about it, and actually, dentists are saying it's rather impractical.
*2 weeks bump, I know. But I just my wisdom teeth pulled out today* The experience is okay, once you wake up from your artificial sleep, you won't feel anything. But the problem is that you'll feel pain in your jaw whenever you move it. Plus, the doctor put some numb thing in my bottom lip so I won't feel pain. Also, there are a lot of blood coming out of my mouth, which sucks whenever I go to sleep and I find one of my pillows have a big blood stain on it. So whenever I spit out the blood from my mouth, I also feel a slight pain from my jaw too. Sucks.
stop posting, you are 3 weeks late.
Fuck anesthetics, be a man and have it done while you're wide awake.
No man has balls enough to be awake then they cut out your goddamn teeth, idiot. You can be a man about wisdom teeth and never bleed or feel pain though, i was lucky
I got 2 wisdom teeths pulled. It didn't hurt at all.

Ive had eye surgery and antithesis you get is... well its fun
I was put under for my bottom two wisdom teeth to be removed. Off work for 3 weeks, but one side of my jaw was left with rasor-sharp bone sticking through - so they put me under again and broke my jaw - another 3 weeks off and was just recovering, then my checkup revealed the same on the other side of my jaw. Put under a third time whilst they boke my jaw on the other side, another 3 weeks off! All fine now, but what a nightmare! My advice... take arnica on the lead up to it. Reduces bruising afterwards. Good luck!
I had 4 of my teeth pulled out with mild anesthesia and some pliers. Didn't really hurt afterward, but I'd imagine pulling out wisdom teeth would be more painful.
I got four pulled out. My cheeks were pretty swollen.
I have Perfect teeth, no cavity's and all meh wisdom teeth
i'm gonna have to have mine pulled out because they're only growing and the bottom set of wisdom teeth already dig into the top of my gums :(
at OP you should be more worried about being awake but paralysed during the pullings than not waking up
Make sure you take your pain pills BEFORE the pain starts to come back! I took my next one when my gums started to hurt and then took a pill. I had to sit there in horrible pain until the next pill kicked in.
Remember, that string stuff you feel is probably just the stitches, NOT EXPOSED NERVE ENDINGS.
Okay, the 2nd day just kicked in and now the wounds where the wisdom teeth used to be is starting to hurt like hell.
I suggest you read up on a condition called "anesthesia awareness". It should calm you down in case of future appointments.
Damn, unlucky.
Getting teeth pulled out... expect lots of random bleeding in your mouth. I had a tooth pulled out, and it bleed like hell for a few days, and then a wisdom tooth grew in it's place~
I've had mine out, just do yourself a favour and dont stick your tongue up where they got removed.. And rinse your mouth well as often as you can with water, or salty water if possible. Other then that you'll be fine.
When they inject the roof of your mouth (or the pallet) it hurts like hell. I had it done once and, GOD it's painful.
I've got 4 but they ain't moving yet. Hoping i don't have to get them out in the future.
