Internet Tracking Habits Experiment - General

For people on Firefox, you might try something like [url=https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/mind-the-time/]this[/url]. Or if you don't want that one you can just google "web timer firefox extension" and a few others will come up.

So does the total add up all the tabs (which wouldn't be an accurate representation), or are they only recording the open tab when timing?

Just installed it, ill put up the results in a week.

[img]http://i.imgur.com/rxl3BII.png[/img] That Firefox one I linked isn't the most accurate. It's claiming 42 minutes on Mangafox when I haven't done shit on that site. I've just had a tab there for a Junji Ito story opened for like two weeks now that I haven't gotten around to. I think that it senses mouse movements over the window through other non-fullscreen windows that are overlapping my browser. Also everything.raocow.com should be quite a bit higher because I watch videos there and unless you tell it to log all time (it stops counting after a minute of inactivity) it will only count a minute of that time.

Sorry Firefox users, unfortunately I couldn't really find a good one to use. I'll keep looking for you though!

I think I'll switch to chrome just for a week to try this.
