The fact that many minority families did not have a chance to build up family wealth for many generations and that many urban schools have less money are just a couple aspects that there are still problems in our society. Just ignoring racism won't solve it, in fact it can cause things to regress.

That's why majority groups who yammer about their pride always turn out to be massive bigots. If you've ever been in the U.S., you see how they radically attempt to shove minorities into everything, whether it be commercials, or a token minority character in a cartoon.
