on a guy i have little preference, so long as they're not beastly hairy. a bit of a trim can be appreciated, but clean shaven (or near to it) is a bit weird, imo you're a guy, you should have at least a bit of hair.
and personally, i find a little landing strip the way to go. i don't feel comfortable not shaving (not physically, it just makes me feel... uncomfortable), but it's difficult to get a close shave right on the top of the [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mons_pubis"]mons pubis[/URL] so i find it much more pleasant to leave a small strip of well trimmed, well kept hair and completely bald the rest of it. tbh i think even if i could get a good close shave all over i'd still want to keep a little anyway, it seems very prepubescent and a little weird to have absolutely nothing.

except blond people can't grow good beards and sometimes look like they have no eyebrows and you still have to trim down there, just because it's near invisible doesn't mean it's not uncomfortable.

My personal preference for my own body is to shave everything, except for around the base of the penis. The two girls that saw it, thought it was a very clean and sexy look. And ofcourse I trim the hair that's left nice and often. Looks clean and well groomed, if I say so myself.
As for what I like to see with girls, nothing beats totally shaven. I find the typical small landing strip very attractive as well. Natural growth is just gross. I'm very sorry, I just can't find it attractive in any way.

Hair doesn't stop growing unless the area is bald and doesn't grow at all. Growing can almost slow down to nothing for about a month or two while the hair is in a "dead" state before it falls out; but it never completely stops unless there is a serious issue with the person who's growing it.

The trick is to use a pumice stone or something similar when the nair is almost finished because if you do it gently enough, it gives your skin a nice smooth feeling while getting rid of most of that stubble.
