Good luck in the call of duty branch.
I wouldn't go into the army.
Hope you are happy in the army!
Have a good time!

Admiration from myself, OP. Do your country proud.
Ignore Wakka, he actually thinks Communism works.
Oh Wakka, he so funny..
Why would you think about how to give oral sex to a woman if you're going to the army?
sorry i dont admire you op
you have a strange relationship with your uncle.
Good luck brave sir. :patriot:
good luck man
Good luck.
And um...incase you die: I love you.
All I can say is good luck. What your doing is a good thing, and even if your joined for the glory and honor bullshit, there's no going back now.
Also, don't forget to aim down your sights.
Try to rape as many women as possible !
What is it with people wanting to speak for everyone else?
What's all this "facepunch admires you" shit? You do, I sure as hell don't. How is what he's doing admirable?
I'm joining up in about a year. For the time between now and then, me and my friend are getting a job over the summer that involves a shitload of heavy lifting then living on a massive area of land owned by his granddad, who owns a couple of shotguns and possibly some rifles. Basically we're gonna get as close to the real thing as possible, as civilians. That way we'll be fit and experienced for actual training. The idea is that training won't be much more than we're used to by then.
What I'd like to know if you, or any other servicemen or ex-servicemen did any similar kind of preparation before they joined up.
He'll be back alright.
Without his legs.

Because he's risking his life? Tell me you have the balls to go out and do that when you're just sat behind a computer screen looking down upon him. People with no respect for members of armed forces don't deserve any respect in return.
If choosing to put your life on the line when there's the option of an easy civilian job instead isn't admirable, I don't know what the fuck is.

You'd be correct if we were fighting World War 2. Unfortunately, we're not.

And how is the principle any different now from then? If anything it's MORE admirable now. In WW2, most men didn't have a choice since there was a draft. The armies of America and Britain rely on volunteers.
Pogue. Don't act like you're doing something heroic and amazing and ballsy when you're going to be sitting in an air-conditioned building all day looking at pictures.
It doesn't matter what his job is. Armies aren't just a bunch of meatheads with guns and helmets, his work is important. There are a metric fuckton of non-combat jobs in the army. He's making the job of said meatheads easier, which improves their chance of survival. That deserves some gratitude.

Don't act like you know what you're talking about.
Since you obviously seem not to.

Risking your life for a stupid reason isn't honorable or respectable. It's rash and poorly thought out.
oh my fucking god, army isn't as bad as you think it is. its the fucking marine boot camp you have to be worried about.

That's me and my brother. I'm on the left. Just because you find a picture of someone on a myspace, there's no way to automatically assume it's me, tardfuck.

are you actually afraid of the drill sergeants?
Thank you for your future service. Good health and Godspeed to you, please try not to get wounded.
Well I would say don't die, but I'm sure you won't.
Unfortunately, since most of the real killing is done with airstrikes and the like, life as a foot soldier will most likely be 5% living on the edge with bullets whizzing past and 95% mind numbing boredom.
Apparently the average workplace statistically is more life threatening than being in the army.
God Speed OP.
Beware the camal spider
Thank you and good luck!
that sounds like a pretty sweet job! good luck!
Dont use body armour or nade launchers, there for noobs.

Care to elaborate on that? Exactly what makes it stupid.
