If that is not a Foundation Tale, then I think you should make it so. It is pretty good.
The worlds gonna probably look like that end scene from Cabin in the Woods, with all the monsters spilling out into the facility except magnified by about a billion. There's probably a great story to be written about the Anomaly apocalypse detailing how fucked up the world has gotten since everything got loose and started dividing up their own little corners of the world.
"The remainder of staff in an Australian facility have formed a murder cult and begun sacrificing lives to [sp]idk sumthin real spooky[/sp], most of Eastern Europe has been consumed by a mass of chocolate insects, and the United States is literally ceasing to exist as something causes the entire landmass and those on it to fade away."
All of the gods trying to end the world at once. It's pretty great.

There should be a foundation memo or something to high clearance personnel that reassures them that if a major security breach occurs, the number of loose dangerous SCPs would cancel each other out and end in a big stalemate where they just clogged the doors like this

I was again browsing random SCP page and wasn't expecting to stumble upon a rap battle
this site is one of those sites that I come upon once every few months and it never ceases to amuse me

So, what exactly is a requirements for a J SCP over a serious, yet humorous SCP?
The fluid canon of the SCP Foundation and its varying scale and tone reminds me a lot of how Marvel and DC stories are written. On the "Batman" scale, you have mystifying but mostly harmless artifacts, horror-inducing computers, evil scientists, humanoid superheroes/supervillains, murderous dolls/machines/ghosts/stairways, and paranormal activity up the wazoo. On the "Superman" scale, you have world-devouring stars, portals to hellish dimensions, ancient evil cities, Lovecraftian horrors, and a million ways to destroy reality. It's great.
Just read SCP-1875. The ending catches you off guard. Don't read it after sunset, like I did.
I wish there had been more in the entry about the supposed sentience of the brains inside. Does the "speed" setting affect how intelligent the brains are? Does running at speed V cause them to gain sentience and become angry? Why would an old creation like that affect computers? I was half-expecting the corrupted messages to spell out something in hexadecimal or recite a series of winning chess moves. It just seems like it was a lot of setup for what amounts to a barely-related jumpscare.

J's seem to be kind of parodies of typical SCP writing or written exclusively as a gag with little canonical influence
"Probably memetic or something."

It honestly feels like it should have been a bit more like SCP-2062, with a creepy build up and a twist that sticks with you (the twist of course being that SCP-2062 used to be a library). The implication that the brains may be sentient or aware of their tortured existence could have been played a bit slower with the really spooky shit only happening once the Foundation testers started prodding it too hard.
It's a cool premise and mostly well done, but the ending just feels cheap.

The ability for people to take it seriously on the mainlist. So it's pretty subjective and based on the sites taste at the time of the articles posting. For example, I've had an article I posted on the mainlist that people found to be too humorous, so I moved it to the -J list and it was moderately successful there.
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1622-j "Class Action Lawfruit"
In addition, this is my only -J that doesn't reference an Atari console in its number, my others being SCP-2600-J, SCP-5200-J, SCP-7800-J, and SCP-2600-CU
As SCP-1055 gains additional mass, instances of SCP-1048 continuously tear it down to construct new instances of themselves. SCP-1055 is fully mobile and will attempt to destroy instances of SCP-1048 which approach it. These remains will be reconstructed as additional SCP-1048 instances are made to repair them. Currently, there are an estimated ████ number of SCP-1048 instances within the chamber, with a capacity of ██████████ additional instances.
what happens when a blind man is locked in a room with SCP - 096
Nothing probably, because he can't see the damn thing. I do wonder what would happen if he touched it though.
what happens when a blind man is locked in a room with SCP - 096
probably nothing
although I always wondered whether keeping a group of 20 or so people in the same room as SCP-173 would prevent it from doing anything

SCP-131 had an effect on 173. It's possible that you could really just get a safe SCP that was able to see and never need to blink to just watch 173 forever honestly. That'd pretty much fix the issue.
Okay, so I'm reading an SCP about an anomalous broadcast of some sitcom involving a guy living with anthropomorphic dogs. "Lame furry shit" I think at first. But then you learn the guy had an artifact that was giving his pet dogs sapience, and it was failing, and they knew they'd loose their ability to think, and then the guy dies or something. Anyway, "okay, not bad" I thought, so I browse the comments, and at the risk of derailing into meta drama, who should write it off as thinly veiled wish fulfilment but Mr Cat Girls himself. I'm now half inclined to violently overturn some furniture.

I'm not big into SCP stuff, but that gave me a headache.

I had to actually check if I am in the right tab, and not in DevArt thread. This happens way too frequently for my liking.
You know, I can't hate it too much. He just looks so happy with that big ol goofy smile.
I literally just signed up for membership on the SCP site to rate that SCP and comment how shit it is. I ruined almost six and a half years of lurking for this, I hope that author is happy.
Most of the skips in the newly created section fail. I don't really pay mind to them. Occasionally I see one that goes past negative hundred. Surprised this is the one that makes you break lurking
How does stuff like that even still get through? Isn't there an approval process? Or at least a cursory readthrough to make sure a submitted SCP isn't garbage?
