'hurp derp 'murrica fuck yeah' You're a dick.
There was not a single mention of America in that post :v
I had never seen some of those photos on the Spanish civil war, makes me both proud and sad that people would fight their own brothers, yet they held their ground as best as they could. '¡No pasarán!'
thanks for this, fascinating to look at!
Never thought you cared about wars.
I had no idea a landmine could do this.
What happened to the pictures that shook the world thread?
Never thought you cared about wars.
why, because i don't take an active part in discussing it? [editline]4th July 2011[/editline] everybody should care about wars.
Adolph was kind of a handsome man in his youth.
Adolph was kind of a handsome man in his youth.
That's why he always get the chicks.
It's sad looking at these photos. Everybody lining up to kill or be killed. Victims and murderers. In my opinion, it doesn't matter who were good or who were bad. Looking at these photos, a group of rebels holding a gun to a soldier make it look like the rebels were the bad guys. Basically anybody holding a weapon to someone else is a bad guy. Now before anyone jumps on the hate train and rams it down my throat, I know who were bad and who were good. All I'm saying is, that out of context, just looking at the photos themselves, those who have the guns look like bad guys. That and Hitler looks pissed 24/7.
This picture is sickening.
Out of all the pictures with Japanese executing people with bayonets and dead Chinese civilians lining village streets, you found that one sickening?
Great thread. I love looking at pictures like these any chance I get. I like this photo.

I had no idea a landmine could do this.
Well in the first world war the word landmine was first used to describe a huge bomb/set of explosives that would be placed under the enemy's defences by tunnelling under them. This is actually a fairly small one, at the time the worlds biggest man-made explosion was caused by landmines. Theres a quote I love that was said around that time, it goes something like "We might not change history, but we'll certainly change geography."
