Part 5 is really shitty. Hopefully part 6 makes up for it.
Part 5 is really shitty. Hopefully part 6 makes up for it.
I disagree. I kinda enjoyed part 5 a bit. Less Stupid and more funny and action. " I feel like a puppy raped by a bulldozer." I love spoony.

Dont Diss James Rolfe.
Dont Diss James Rolfe.
Don't get me wrong, he's awesome and I love the AVGN and Board James. I didn't have anything against his cameo either. I just thought the other parts before and after it were stupid.
Spoony is hilarious, but the Santa Christ part was fucking stupid and so was the Risk part.
Yeah, the Santa Christ part and the Risk part took way too long, and they were just shoehorning in as many people as they could
I think it's getting better and better. Spoony is fantastic
still havent bothered watching this, is it even worth watching?
If you like Spoony or anybody else in the group
IMO, Part 5 seemed shorter than the others because it was really only 3 sketches that went on too long (the fight, the Santa Christ bit and Risk)
that guy with the glasses is always pissing me off whatever he do.
"I feel like a Puppy that's been raped by a Bulldozer" That had me laughing quite a bit.
Is it just me, or could that fight scene have been done a million times better? I mean, think for two minutes, you're a movie and video game review site, NO ONE on that damn thing has any pixel art or programming abilities? Why in hell didn't you make a simplistic hardcoded fighting game mockup? The effects would look better, be effortlesss to design and implement, and you could maybe have NC FLOAT. I mean, you have how many fans, and none of you, nor any of them could do this blitheringly obvious idea. Really. I am disappoint. Oh also Nostalgia Critic. I mean, I'm sorry?, but you just made Dr.Insano pointless, he's supposed to be an uncontrollable madman, he can't do teamwork or any other coordinated methods of attack, so if he loses so handidly, the whole damn thing's pointless.
They don't need to put in the effort for special effects cause TGWTG.com users can be entertained by damn near anything. Save for Uncyclopedia they're the last group of people on the internet who still think Chuck Norris jokes are funny. You know the first cameo to appear in the "We believe in Santa Christ" part? His shtick is to sit on a couch and talk about stale memes and image macros from 2002 and how they make no sense, the members of that site love it. Prediction: At the end Santa Christ will wake up and be like "urrrghh what happened?"

Tonight's the last part. All I can say is I hope the ending is nice and good. But if you see the videos of them hanging out at their hotel, it makes me want to hang with them.
I hated the latest part. I felt embarrassed for them. It's like the enjoyability walked off with Cinema Snob. I hate how the community has moved from reviewing things to wanking themselves raw over their stupid characters. It wouldn't be so bad except Doug Walker is a horrible director and writer who won't stop reusing his old shitty jokes and trying to force memes.

There's awkward and theres awkward, but this is just AWKWARD
Even James felt awkward. Also the editing is horrible and they didn't even try......I can make a hell lot of better FX in after effects and I am a beginner.
still havent bothered watching this, is it even worth watching?
If you watch The Nostalgia Critic, The Nostalgia Chick, The Angry Joe Show, Atop The Fourth Wall, Phelous' Movie Reviews, The Cinema Snob, The Spoony Experiment, MarzGurl Reviews, Bad Movie Beatdown, Still Gaming w/ Lee, Games That You Might Don't Know (But Are Still Pretty Damn Sweet), Game Heroes, Until We Win, Sage Reviews, Transmission Awesome, or anything involving Paw or JewWario, you might like it. If you're going in blind, whether you like it or not is whether you take it seriously or not. If you take it seriously, you'll hate it and complain that the acting and special effects are bad. If you know that this series is a comedy done by people who review bad movies for a living, then you'll probably like it and understand that half of the comedy comes from Narm: to do something so over-the-top serious that it becomes funny, and this is controlled Narm in its highest form. (The other half comes from gags, movie references, and series in-jokes). Personally, I really like the series. There's nobody I can't stand: even Film Brain's intentionally unlikeable character falls into place as the intentionally unlikable character, looping back around to being empathetic. In fact, if you look carefully at the writing as a whole, you'd find that Kickassia is rather well-done (so far). Also, you kind of missed the point of the "floating" joke.
The only things that really bugged me was the force lightning thing in the fight scene. The lighting looked hysterically cheap, now I realize that they weren't really trying to sell that effect but really I could whip up something better in about 15 minutes (and I'm 90% Video Copilot trained). This is probably...nah it is nit picking, but if I was editing this no way in hell I would let that pass.

Hell, have it be a case of this even. Really, Insano's potential was wasted and could've been used much better. EDIT: Maybe it's just that he's my favorite, but still, COME ON. He made the AMFGK, the Hypertime controller and loads of other crap, he shouldn't be downed in a cheap 5 minute fight scene with such a foreshadowing stretching back 5 bloody episodes.
Since when does Dr Insano fight anyway?

[del]We can only hope they pull that off in Episode 6.[/del] Edit: Actually, it does make sense on where they placed the Insano fight, since [sp]you can't top EVERYONE attacking the Nostalgia Critic in Episode 6.[/sp] And technically, [sp]Insano did try to start a coup de tat after defeating the Nostalgia Critic in Episode 5, just before getting beaten again.[/sp] Maybe you can blame pacing problems, but to be fair, they didn't have long to shoot the movie. Also, in response to both you and Drasnus, Dr. Insano has lost in just about every fight he's ever been in (save for [sp]capturing Mechakara and torturing him[/sp]). Now that I think about it, why didn't we see this coming?

6th is out
A bit too quick, although it does explain that it is satire of such films/plots.
Spoony was under played in this.
Am I the only person who liked the entire thing? You're all taking this way too seriously.
