That's not true at all. American soldiers are as well trained as the UK's. The US has the largest and most advanced air force, as well as the largest modern navy.

The US is a substantially wealthy nation, even after much of our industry was outsourced and after half our economy tanked we remain quite wealthy. Richest country on earth? Quite possibly since it is also a substantially large one. If you combined all the assets of this country you would have quite a lot.
But per capita the US isn't, never was and probably never will be the wealthiest.
Especially when places that sell oil by the barrel at such high, high prices these days exist
