Not only does it split apart, it also comes with it's own case that I can use to pack it down into a 3'x2.5' box in case I actually wanted to move it around. This is the water pipe that causes everyone's jaw to hit the floor the moment they see it after stepping into my room. One of my current bongs that was a gift from an old friend. Straight tube, diffused 14mm downstem, ice notches, however the bottom glass broke so my genius friend taped it in a Peanut butter container lid. Also a Cannabis Culture in-line perc ash catcher with a fairly large bowl. [IMG]http://i46.tinypic.com/1jwxer.jpg[/IMG] My Concentrate vaporizer, also use it for DMT and bud works in it too. Neither of those are name brand actually, I got the two tree perc one for 120 at a local headshop. As for the 3 piece one, I got it for 180 down in Pacific Beach (SoCal), considdering one of the only manufacturers of the collin's base that I know of is illadelph, which are usually around $1000 minimum, this is an incredible price for this piece of glass to find for such a low price. Here's the carrying case it can get packed into, complete with 2 bowl piece spots, a little tuck away spot underneath the padding, and spots for the clips. i got my first piece ever last night. it's brought ages ago in christiania by my friend. we were just browsing through the spoons, when i noticed this beast. it looked so cool, but i couldn't afford it at the time, so my mate bought it instead. it kinda bothered me that i never got to buy the piece but that he did. then last night, when i was at a party, my brother comes over and tells me that he got a surprise for me. i could wait and get it on my birthday, but he would suggest to take the surprise right that very moment, cause it would make my evening way better. i told him that i would like it now, and he handed me this pipe. he apparently brought it from my friend, just to give it to me. Just basic, I don't like them too crazy, a diffused stem and an ice catcher.[/QUOTE] Agh, it was never airtight, I could always get air through, but no actual air bubbles...got home last night, noticed I could get air bubbles in...Pushed the bowl in to take a hit, and it was airy as shit so I twisted the downstem to remove it, and that's when I noticed the hairline fracture. Well tonight it broke all the way so I superglued it until I can buy a new downstem. At least the new one will be airtight.
