It's just like an ordinary pipe, only it is really short, about 3 inches long and it has a lid at the end. The lid has a tiny 2-3mm hole, where you may apply a flame and a tightly packed bowl will stay cherried. It is very handy for a portable bowl which you don't want to waste weed or worry about your bowl being blown away. The only drawbacks are that it hits your throat very hot, and the device itself will get very hot, it also requires a screen. You would be better off making a tincture with Propylene Glycol and then flavoring it.

The bowl is on the left side and is about the circumference of a 25 cent coin (U.S. or canadian). You inhale through the top of the cap of the mushroom. The pipe is upside down by the way, that's why you don't see the bowl. It's all I have and it works awesome. Got it as a present, along with a golden grinder.

I had to stealthily blaze so I used an old corn cob I had. The tobacco resin and the depth of the bowl was a total bitch to deal with. For $15 you can get a much, much better glass piece. Hell maybe even a shitty bubbler for that price

Not bad for the price, but yeah glass is way better for weed. I miss my old wooden pipe though, holmes.

As long as you aren't a complete butterfingers and you don't pass it to drunks/idiots you should have nothing to worry about. I've dropped my pipe on many occasions where I thought it would surely break but it's still intact.

I know this from personal experience with breaking several of my pieces...generally though if its good thick glass you have to put some real effort into breaking it.

Yeah not to mention you're just doing yourself a disservice by avoiding glass [i]just in case[/i] you break it. Have some faith in yourself it's not like you're just going to magically drop it. Even if you do they remain intact a lot of the time. I mean I've had some pieces for over a year. $15-$40 a year isn't much to have a dope ass piece. The only time I'd consider breakability as a factor is if it's an expensive ass piece or it's just horribly shaped (i.e. an unsupported, long, thin tube that makes up like half the structure of the piece)

The good thing about a glass piece though is that it is so small that its hard to break for the most part. Light enough that it wont shatter itself if dropped (if good thick glass that is), doesnt roll or stand tall, and doesnt have any stress points (like how a bong can tip over onto the bowl and destroy the downstem like a toothpick). Pipes are pretty durable for the daily smoker.
