Polytech offers different qualifications that University doesn't. It all depends on where you want your career to go.

What's the weather like in NZ during the different seasons? I get the impression it's pretty warm all year, but I've also heard the winters can be really cold (like under 10C).

The rest of the seasons are pretty unpredictable e.g in the middle of last Summer it snowed in Chch etc.

Bearing in mind I live in northern Auckland, which hasn't gotten snow since at least 2000.
