[sp]Hamilton isn't as boring as Gore[/sp]
Jokes aside, who's been to Weta Workshop? Is it worth going down from Auckland just for that?
lol anyone going to polytech is a por hudda
Why pay uni fees for the same qualification at a polytech for the fraction of the price.
because polytech isn't really recognized in any other countries
Polytech offers different qualifications that University doesn't. It all depends on where you want your career to go.
I'm kidding about polytech, its cool.
Possibly might do 3d stuff there in future. But right now i'm into security.
the trick with student fees is to never get a job then they can't even take any money off you read the contract dummy
get a job then pay the student fees

What's the weather like in NZ during the different seasons? I get the impression it's pretty warm all year, but I've also heard the winters can be really cold (like under 10C).

Winter is horrible. Its wet and snowy. The rest of the seasons are pretty unpredictable e.g in the middle of last Summer it snowed in Chch etc.
Spring is also winter
Spring is also winter
Not always in Gisborne though.
Spring is what you get when Summer and Winter want to be in your face.
Every season is winter, except winter is colder winter.
Spring is also winter
Spring is winter, autumn and summer is winter, spring and autumn is summer, spring and winter is autumn, summer and...
Basically, every season has an identity crisis, which is proven by the fact that there seems to have been heavier rainfall in spring than mid-winter.
One minute its raining next minute its sunny who the fuck knows whats gonna happen next
it can be really sunny and raining at the same time

I remember once it was perfectly cloudless for two hours, then a heavy thunderstorm time-travel'd in from hurricane katrina, before it suddenly stopped and gave way to light snowfall a few minutes after that.
Bearing in mind I live in northern Auckland, which hasn't gotten snow since at least 2000.
I think about Lord Of The Rings when people talk about New Zealand :').
What's the average temperature during summer and winter?
i'm BACK
