I actually posted this thread. Wow, I feel like an ass hole now. I was at my friends house, and posted this because we actually did buy shrooms from someone and they turned out to be garlic. You can't really blame us. It was our first time, and the guy who gave them to us says "Put these in your pocket and don't open them until you get home". We just thought that he didn't want anyone to see the him give them to us, which is understandable of course. So then, we didn't really know what they were supposed to look like. We went straight to the park and looked at them. We didn't really know what to expect for them to look like, because the guy who gave them to us said that they were a rare breed. So, I figured, why not try one. We began to research when we got home, and they seemed to fit the garlic description, and thus this post was made by me. So now I feel like an ass because my poor friend got embarrassed at the post because it made him look like a n00b, so he applied for a banme.

We didn't get it from a dealer, we got it from a runner for a dealer, and it was dark out.
A middleman is even MORE sketchy than a dealer.
Take it as a lesson OP, you always check you've got what you've wanted before you hand over the money

i will admit that i have made this mistake myself. quite a few years ago though. i was gonna buy this "iPod" from this guy who i thought i knew well (i grew up with him). i meet him at this place, hand him the money, stupidly. he runs off, i try to catch him, but he gets into this get-a-way car before i can get him.

Sometimes there's situations where you'll HAVE to hand over the money first. You don't want this stuff anyways, take it from me. I once went to get an ounce of GREEN FLUFFY MIDS NOT SEEDY for $150 an O (not bad at the time) I get there, I hand over the money, and my buddy goes to get it, brings it back, it's BRICKY shitty seedy CRAP. I didn't want it so I told him take this shit back, and he's like "Oh, sorry bro, the person's at work now...Can you give me a ride home?" (I brought him there, and it was across town.) "NO" And then I sped off, and haven't talked to that guy since.
Yeah last night I had to front it all, the dealer only trusts so many people and the guy that was getting it for me was broke.
Honestly, I wanted to tell him to give me my money back and take it back because at $20\g I expect to at least have an unground bud, not about 1g worth of GROUND weed, but he knew I would so he threw it in the car and left before I could even turn my light on to look at it.
Turns out it's pretty amazing weed though, normally I would have smoked it all in one night, but I just took 2 pinches throughout the night, around 1\8th of what I got, and I was gone all night

I just wanted to see if it was the mexican brick weed that's been going around here, would explain why they ground it up because nobody will buy that shit anymore. I've had some brick weed before. Pretty obvious that it was off a brick. It was super dense and really good, but it didn't look good at all.

The brick weed here is shit. One time my friend bought a half O and we both smoked a 2g joint each, didn't feel shit.
