Does anyone make something other than electronic/dubstep/etc? :v:
I make music that isn't electronic/dubstep/ect. occasionally!
Any of you guys making sales?
My entire musical career has earned me $2.50 USD :D
I make music that isn't electronic/dubstep/ect. occasionally!
I wanna start making alternative rock. I just have to learn how to play guitar :v:
HOLY FUCKING SHIT THE ALBUM IS ABOUT TO COME OUT ASDF I AM LITERALLY CRYING TEARS OF JOY
Just curious, what do you guys use to make/record your music? I use Reason 5, but I've been interested in maybe trying out either Cubase, Logic, or Ableton. Can anyone offer some insight on them?

I'm proud of having my work on an album with the great musicians of facepunch. =) Really dig the CD, great work everyone!
Any of you guys making sales?
If by sales you mean getting payed for gigs then yes, I get payed usually in drinks at the bar, which is fine by me because I only seldom play.
I've made 1,5€ with my musec. :smug:
0,18€ bitches!
Hey, how do you guys normally arrange stuff in your DAW's? This probably applies most for FL Studio since it's so flexible. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/oiwpm.jpg[/img_thumb]
Idk how to do that with reason lol

My mixer is on top, instruments in the middle with mastering components on the left rack, instruments in the middle rack, and all percussion on the right rack, and finally my sequencer at the bottom. I can drag each section up and down if I want a full view of either.
Thank you garry for not letting me media tag this  [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/13epM.jpg[/img_thumb] [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Yeah it's a mess :saddowns:
Yeah, whats's up with the media tags? I had to scale my down cause of that
You can always quote and put them in img_thumb. =)
the image I posted is img_thumb'd :<
And img_thumb doesn't work when you post them like that, they only work when you quote (hence me saying you should put it in a quote). =) Let me demonstrate. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/oiwpm.jpg[/img_thumb]
I don't know why it works like that.

Can anyone remake this? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1439918/music/dum.wav By remake, I mean just the...not sure what to call it, but just the drums
Woo! I pulled my firs samples out of this POS Casio.
I'm sure many of you have seen Wilkinson's 'Blender Bass video'. Here is the second installment, 'Hoover Bass' which also features some dustbin percussion.
that's pretty damn cool
Must be the best way to make a hoover bass [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] like, EVER
