Er, I got some idea that I can't quite get a hold of. Like I got what would happen before, and I can kind of hear what the part would sound like in my head, but I really don't know what it is. I don't know how to get around this. It's a paradox because I know what is in my head and I know it is conceivable, yet I have no idea what to put down to achieve it. Maybe I need some coffee.
Happens to me all the time. And I always get stressed if I forget it and try to recall it to my mind.
What is the crappiest synth in FL Studio?

TS404 or WASP
WASP is awesome. What's wrong with it.
I hate WASPS UI. Seems cluttered to me. TS404 works for what it does.
3xosc has the least functionality
Harmor looks (and sounds) fucking awesome. Might as well get it when I get some money

so i just saved my tune after working my ass off on the mixdown and avg told me to restart so i saved the tune, mix down and all before restarting
just opened the track and i have to do the mixdown all over again, even plug-in levels
fucking dammit
Auto save is always a nice feature. Studio One has versions, which comes in very handy.

still learning to play this this thing, it's pretty damn fun
I'm gonna start taking bassist lessons! :D :D
Ok.. so why do Indians mix their vocal in such a weird fashion. Why and how is it done? It almost sounds like it's clipping or something.
They are obviously doing it on purpose since everything else in the mix sounds very clean and traditional.

The same goes for alot of arabic music too.

Make sure the teacher is a bassist and not a guitarist who also plays bass. Some things from guitar can be applied, and others cannot. One major difference is how you treat root notes and octaves in an arpeggio. My 2 cents aside, have fun! Bass guitar is a really underestimated instrument.

Yeah so people tell me, I already play a bit, but I don't know any theory, and I guess that's what's stopping me from moving forward now.
I know how to play pretty good and so, but I can't make any songs, solos and that stuff.
Could I get some tips on soft neurofunk bass? You know, the type that sounds near enough like sub bass with loads of modulation and whatnot. And yes, I've tried that, but it never comes out sounding great..

Give some reference?
Sure, sort of like this. Not the best example but I've forgotten any particular songs with exactly what I want,

About 1.30
Oh it's Noisia. Those guys resample and process in such a sick manner. I really can't help you much with that. It sounds like some kind of opening low pass filter and maybe some subtle distortion modulating.

About 1.30
knowing the genre, it's probably synthesized. You could get close with a low pass, wah, and maybe some distortion

I'm curious. What instrument could produce a sound like that
just about anything with an LFO and a low pass
I had two of my tracks reviewed today:

ok, A TRIBUTE-
interesting, vintagey sort of rock with some nice voice overs. oh i like "spreads its wings" thats a nice clip. This makes me feel like im watching a MICHAEL MOORE documentary, with the juxtaposition of music and visual. I think this is a great idea, i think its cool you went with the straight ahead rock stuff, YE!!! Overall, its clear that you had something and mind and followed through with it. i dont equate this music with space lfight, but i think thats why i enjoy this little snip - fresh in a weird way....
ok, NEW DAWN-
interesting. the sound make me feel like u are recording the bass line in. interesting.
this is some NEAT chord progressions. oh, a MAJOR THIRD creeped out in that chromatic line, neat.
You could really use this vintage sort of vibe you are so good at capturing to make some reallly cool music. ID LUV to hear something ambitious with these sort of textures and tonal ideas you have, like , a larger scale work, say 15 minutes long, because it has an EXCELLENT lo fi quality, yet you can still hear it all.
i like what you are about here.
rating - in my garage, i feel safe! glad to have you around. some people have been saying some strange things about me, but if i can make just ONE person hear something fresh, link the listener to the audience, that is amazing.....
what kinda review is that :v:

I'm not sure but I'm laughing and it spurred me to start working on a long track that hopefully will reach beyond 5 minutes at least. =)

Do what I did.
I made my first "serious" project 10 minutes long :v:

I'm always amazed at how you're capable of making long songs time and time again without it ever getting boring, I really wish I knew how you do it. =)
