not exactly thrash, more speed metal.

btw the only reason i went off key when i sung that song is because i was laughing my ass off at the monkey moshing with the crowd.
I'm currently more of a FL Studio guy, but apparently Ableton Live is the bee's knees these days.
What so awesome about it compared to FL, and which version should I aim for?
If you're into sampling/mashing, Ableton is the way to go. Otherwise it doesn't really matter.
not exactly thrash, more speed metal.
thrash and speed are so closely related that often the only distinguishing factor is the clothes of the performers.

you're funny huh, but we're more speed metal because of songs like these:

and even then the only clothes that definitely makes speed metal is leather pants

whatevs
What song?
Speaking of songs, did you recieve the PM with the latest version of the ~mix?
also denim vests are a good indication of thrash and I definitely saw a denim vest in there somewhere
I found a MIDI keyboard in my basement.
For the ableton/fl battle, the only redeeming quality Fl has is the superior piano roll, which doesn't matter as much now that I have a keyboard.
Wonder if I'm the only one that gets teary-eyed by good drum-solos :v:

Every time I start writing music, I get ideas for another piece, and want to pursue it instead.

My 1200s just got here :)
My guitar teacher just released a video of their new single, I love being able to be taught by someone I actually enjoy listening to!

those are some big people to put in such a small car
Great, going through the Audio Interface crisis here.
If I buy a USB audio interface, the signals from the mic/guitar will go through the USB port into the computer right?
So if a buy a non usb interface like a behringer xenyx, how do I channel it to the computer?
Is there an easier way on how to learn trance with fruity loops?
I'm wondering if any one could help me out. I've just bought a casio cdp-100, its great! I've tried hooking it up to reason 5 (thinking of going to fruity loops) with a midi to usb cable, I've setting it up in the programme but it doesnt seem to be picking up any midi signals.
First time using midi so I'm lost haha.

Compared to what? Just keep making music and you'll get better.

toneport or the boss pedal
toneport or the boss pedal
The boss pedal. I prefer the Turbo distortion BS-2 though.
i tried both
i like the range the metal zone supports
do u have any fav presets
I'm listening through my old stuff and I'm actually changing my opinion on it, some of it is actually pretty good! I mean solos and all that are probably not even in the right key, but some of it is actually passable. =)

Most importantly though, is that while it might not be something I'd pay money for it is still something I've created, and my friends contributions (drums and bass) are really solid and I'm honoured to have them as my friends and most importantly, as band-mates.
Now, I just need to learn how to sing or find someone who can and we can start making some really cool music.
In fact, I think I've found my old spark again, been coming up with some cool (albeit basic) riffs and I'm going to practice a lot more again.
