Well, guys, I'm thinking about making my next album a 2-parter.
Maybe with the second part being a single long song?
Anyways, here are the 2 covers I'll be using, most likely.

the design is bad. you should ask for some criticism on the creationism corner.

If its bad, I don't think it would be worth posting there.
...That's why you ask for criticism, so that they can help you.

But if the whole idea is bad, how could they give me criticism?
I don't see anyone saying the idea is bad, just that the design is bad.
You obviously think it's a good idea too, since you're posting it.

Well of course I think its a good idea, but I just don't see how I could make it any better with my incredibly limited image editing skills.
That's why you ask for criticism, so that they can tell you.
lol shitting at each other back and forth.

Hey come on, we're not trying to offend you.
Maybe ask for someone else to do it if you think you're not up to it?
Hey guys I have a question what with Christmas right around the corner, I'm looking to improve my pc for better production quality.
Usually by the time i've got a fair amount of vsts and a bunch of track layers and automation clips in the mix my audio starts skipping and popping, lagging etc, most likely due to high CPU usage. Wondering if a new sound card would improve anything, or more RAM?
Either way, is a newer sound card a good option for production quality? (I'm getting some monitors as well)

Never thought that you would try to offend me, I'm just not very good at this.
And I don't know a lot of people who would make an album cover for free.

A better CPU is always good, but RAM is always necessary, and will help you with your current problem.

Just take a picture of you two guys, make it B/W and put lots of lens flares on there. Really a fucking boatload. Consider the sepia effect as well, really useful.

Are you using asio4all?
oh baby don't be like that (;
No I meant musical collaboration, not bedroom collaboration.
You can't really depends on asio4all.
You can't really depends on asio4all.
Why not? Do elaborate.
You can't really depends on asio4all.
Well it's still exponentially better than some "HD-supermaxmega-audio" drivers.
ASIO4All Is just awful when you work with multiple inputs.
But I will say, It got me through my music technology course at college when I didn't have the funds for a proper interface.
In my experience there is a huge latency with any input, especially when monitoring. It is possible to work with, I'm not claiming it isn't, but I found it be to be something I had to be pretty conscious about when doing recording, especially with a number of glitches like inputs randomly turning on. When you get a legit ASIO interface you never want to go back. Also to note, ASIO4all works pretty well with interfaces that use the protocol.

Ive never had any problems like that. It is kind of unreliable though, i guess

new amp day.
just gotta build up a case for it, that's gonna be a bitch in this weather, especially since my table saw kicks anything you try to crosscut
[editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
I need to build a crosscut sled pretty bad
[editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
could probably use the jigsaw but I like straight lines too much

Good investment, Razor is awesome.
I have about £170 to spend on a Recording device, is this any good: http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~Presonus-AudioBox-Studio~ID~15600.asp and can it record the line out of my amp, or do I need to find some amp simulators.
[editline]30th November 2011[/editline]
I'll be recording Bass, Keyboards, vocals and electric guitar BTW.
The interface is good but you might want to spring for something with more inputs. But if you only need two that would work fine.

I'm only going to need two for now, I don't imagine me recording in one take with a whole band.

Especially as all the musicians I know tend to be busy as different times.
drums you'll want at least 4 mics though. normally you'd run those through a full mixer board with ideally one mic per drum plus an overhead and 2 room mics
