The twist is going to be that they meet a girl named Eve or some shit. And that little kid is Adam. They will fight a snake or something, Will Smith dies, kids grow up, shit out some kids, and repopulate the earth. Fuck you shalamaladong.

Let's explore every single possible twist here and when it actually comes out we'll be disappointed and think it's predictable

So... the okapis we saw were evolved to kill humans? Or the Baboons? I mean, I get the eagle, they feast on primates in the wild. I get the saber tooth tiger, it's a fucking saber toothed tiger. But I struggle to think that nature could not come up with a better design to kill humans than okapis and baboons.

I really don't get that in pretty much every cgi filled movie nowadays Do they really look at it and say "oh this looks good enough lets make a whole movie with it"?

What if there aren't any twists at the end, that would be in itself such a huge twist in an M Night movie that I'm halfway expecting it.

Okapis, since they're an endangered species should not even be in an "After earth" scenario.

I thought this was going to be that Deus Ex movie and then when nothing in the trailer had anything to do with Deus Ex I was confused as fuck.

So how did humans let animals slowly evolve over 1000 years to be human killing machines. How did humans lose to fucking animals. Pretty sure animals dont have guns, or electricity, or ramen.

Maybe both Oblivion and After Earth are actually in the same universe, just not at the same time/same place. There's probably going to be a fan theory going like this anyway.

There's no "balance of nature", especially not when one species has nuclear weapons. It would seem more likely that the animals were genetically modified weapons that escaped and overran everything, but they don't seem to be using that explanation.
