I just did some research on the body's ability to store electricity, here's some fun facts: The body is a 200 pico-farad capacitor, and a 1kilo-ohm resistor. A static discharge can run around 50,000 volts, which is why it hurts. So using ohms law, that's 50 Amps that you produce for a fraction of a second. I wonder if you could actually use static buildup to power something for a short period of time. Like if you restricted the flow and spread out the total energy over a couple minutes.

I shock my cat alot on the nose lately. He doesn't like it. He attempts to punch or bite me. But yeah, it has to do with temperatures and winter, thats as far as I know.
