I'm Right now looking into the lightsources. I'm just thinking of maybe getting a sunlamp at the closest store, like a lamp store around here. Not sure for ventilation, what would you recommend?
Your going to need some serious wattage when they start getting into vegatative and flowering stage.
A 1,000 watt bulb cost $120 here. (California)
Mercury vapor lamps do not emit much beneficial light, even when compared to fluorescent lamps. I also can not recommend a ventilation system without knowing exactly what lamp/lamps you're going to use. How many plants are you looking to grow?
Just one, possibly another one if the first one goes well.
In that case I am going to suggest using Compact Fluorescent lamps. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_fluorescent_lamp
They are inexpensive and can be found nearly anywhere. They also do not emit much heat, meaning you will not need state of the art ventilation. You will need a minimum of 100 watts a plant, the higher you go the better. Where are you going to grow this plant, a closet?
