Donnie Darko
Fight Club
There Will Be Blood
28 Days Later (There's alot more to it than just zombies)
Bronson (IMO)
The Fly
Donnie Darko
Fight Club
District 9
Kill Bill
I haven't seen Fight Club, but I know the ending reveal - is it still worth watching?
Same goes for Shutter Island, actually.
Yeah, still worth watching. It has some great moments.
A Clockwork Orange.
I found this movie pretty deep, though others may disagree:
Shutter Island.
Even if it's not what you're looking for, it's still a fucking amazing movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The prestige
Deer hunter. I don't really need to explain myself, except i had to sit for about 20 minutes after the end it came as such a shock to everything that had been built up in the movie.
Schindler's List, how come no one mentioned this?
Who the heck puts Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in the same list as Synedoche?
They're both amazing movies. Perhaps not on the same level, but good nonetheless.

Such a fucking incredible film.

I think you can't get deeper than this.
Dog pound just came out and it's pretty deep.
If someone can make a thread about it, it would be great.

It made my top movies ever, I loved it as well. Along with Schindler's List, like Haxxer said.

Pretty deep and the ending hits hard. It's also based on a true story which makes it even harder to watch. Check it out.
It's "Inspired by true events" which were probably 10x less dramatic than in the movie and 10x more different than depicted.
Memento is an incredible film.
You talk about depth, twists and plot developments. Memento is a masterpiece.
Mulholland Drive and the Machinist.

Dark City is good too.
The Green Mile.
The Green Mile.
No way. That movie was ridiculous. How is a movie about a magical man who can cure any disease by eating your body flies deep? I didn't read any sort of symbolism or any meaningful artistic or emotional message from that film, the characters were cliche'd and boring, and I hated the cinematography. Fuck, I hated that movie.
Stalker.
Taxi Driver
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Top Gun

Pulp fiction was interesting. A master piece too.
But not deep.
