It is a GREAT movie... Both Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are awesome in that movie! And by the way, the book is great too. And it doesn't end the same way!

Damn strange film. I watched it twice in a couple of days just to try and work out what it was all about, and then read half of the script. It's really interesting. :buddy:
Transformers 2. No film touched me quite like that. It's such a heart wrenching tale, and it deserves a place on this list.

Speaking of this, the film Dead Man Walking (funnily enough, directed by Tim Robbins) does this, in my opinion, even better. While I think Shawshank is the better film, Dead Man Walking made me weep even harder. I'd [I]definitely[/I] recommend watching it if you enjoyed Shawshank which ought to be everyone here.

Battle Royale is an amazing film. If you just watch it for the violence, you'll never find the emotional depth.
