He's trying to tell you to expand off the zombie apocalypse idea and to address issues that would rise up during an apocalypse scenario that necessarily isnt directly zombie related. He's pretty much saying to have bad guys that are humans taking advantage of the apocalypse. edit- On the subject of graphic nature, as a comic book artist you want to stand out from the others. To do this you have make yours memorable and graphic content if used strategically can achieve that. Note I said strategic not: GORE, GORE EVERYWHERE. It's an apocalypse, demonstrate the adversity there and the amazing will of humans to survive.
Oh, so what were you confused about? There's no need for explicit sex unless you want to, but It's hard to pull this off, right without being corny, crude, or unintencionally funny.
I gotta admit I'm scared of bringing up deep emotions and human issues, I'm not a good writer and I'm afraid stuff will be cheesy, or that it'll be too much drama. And... it was not my plan to focus too much on what's become of the rest of humanity. I want this to be a thrilling ride about a group of survivors. Sure they'll encounter problems and conflicts but that'll mostly be between the group. I have lots of ideas for where it's heading I just hope I can potray it good enough for it to be interesting
You can always run ideas by me if you want some review, to make something great you have to take a few risks.
I hate it when that happens. You think of this great story, but you aren't skilled enough to pull it off right. Oh well, maybe next time, or maybe you could sketch the story and whip up some pages for it, for practice (and extra content, ka-shing).
mmmmm... zombie sex slave gladiatorssssss......
There is another problem, I'm embarrassed to pitch ideas about the comic :( Seriously I don't even write my ideas down I just draw it as it goes. That's how bad it is
You can pm them if you want, I won't judge and its part of the creative process to brain storm. You should also get into the habit of recording ideas since while you may remember the gist of it, you might forget one tiny thing that sells the idea.
I really like your style. You've got an outstanding understanding of the use of color to create certain moods. You've earned yourself a fan, mate.
Isn't it kind of a waste to pitch ideas if you don't judge them
There's a difference between judging and creative elimination, one that not many people are aware of.
Hey, I wouldn't mind being an idea filter, too. Hey, how tech-savvy are you? Have your boys create some makeshift weaponry. You know, DIY pistols and such. Hell, the only reasoion I like SAW is for the inventive and deliciously appropriate traps.
Guys I figured it out. Stale is Zeke!
I think I'm gonna give the idea pitching a shot. Thanks to both of you.
Hey, I wouldn't mind being an idea filter, too. Hey, how tech-savvy are you? Ooh, this should be fun, I have tons of neat ideas for stuff, but my scientific knowhow is a bit lacking, I'll tr yand draw some of my ideas, when I feel like it. (2lazy2work)
That would be awesome
How do you feel about induction-powered incendiary mines?
Gotta say I didn't have in mind to bring in any advanced weaponery. I want it to be realistic and that means, weapons/guns whatever are rare. And that makes them more effective.
Meh, unless I'm wrong, all you need a is a casing, some inflamable gas, a spring, a plataform, copper wire and some magnets.
and duct tape I hope?
A Norwegian character? Oh god yes.
Actually duct tape would help avoid unwanted explosion, good call.
It's a damn good webcomic, you should be proud.
I LOVE you named the main Character Ståle :buddy: I also loved the joke you did when the guy said "Ståle? sounds Swedish" People from other countries than Scandinavia always say that to me, and My name is Magnus. It's one of the most Norwegian names there is :argh:
This is awesome, love the art style. Keep it up bro ! :buddy: would love to make something like this myself but unfortunately my drawing skills are horrible
what did you use to make it?
This comic looks promising, I hope you have a lot of story left. Also, bookmarked.
what did you use to make it?
All I use is photoshop bro. All I ever need
As soon as I learn to not suck at drawing I'm making gay rule 34 of your comic just thought you should know this.
Can't wait
