It depends on your interpretation of "Zombies" on whether it's impossible really.
I mean it's well within the realms of the possible for a virus to make us stupid, insane and aggressive, and for it to be contageous via bodily fluid. It's unlikely that something like that exists but it could definitely be concieved in a lab.
Something like the living dead is much more likely to be impossible, but that's not 100% certain. I mean, we have such a limited understanding of medicine, there's loads of conditions we don't even understand.

because it's part of human nature not to think about making backups before actually losing any data, I'm afraid.
