fuck unicef giv me ur monee [editline]6th September 2011[/editline] oh! Also, I made a power metal song for this, but my mic isn't good enough to handle that style of vocals. Anyone else up to do some power metal vocals?!
I'd be willing to do them if they don't go higher than a high tenor C.
can you not do falsetto?
can you not do falsetto?
C5 is the highest note I can get somewhat comfortably without falsetto. To play it safe I'd probably say a B5 (if you don't count when I belt ridiculous amounts. When I do that I'm able to hit an F#5)
Well I'm telling you to use falsetto if you need to it doesn't really matter, just do what you can. I'll record a "demo" of my song singing giving a rough outline for how I have the vocals in my head and you can do whatever you want with it just give me like 24 hours thanks

I can do falsetto fine.
Oh, no I wasn't. I was asking you a question not making a request lol

I'm trying to decide if I should go with something humorous or serious.
I'm trying to decide if I should go with something humorous or serious.
I'd prefer something serious.
Perhaps may be a good idea because I tend to dumb down my composition with songs that are supposed to humorous.
write it for serious lyrics then after you write the music section switch out the lyrics
Submitted my track.
Now enable downloading on it, and send me a PM with the required fields.
what about the lower ranges?
G2 is the lowest I can go, but it's not very supported.I can sing As fine though
i will do jazz
Getting some guitar stings. Should be able to compose something.
Making a dubstep tune for this one, and not one of those angry distorted wobble crazy dubstep tunes, it's rather smooth, almost relaxing.
Jazz step?
Not quite :v: actually not a bad idea if well executed though. But I sadly lack jazz samples.
I'm maybe 7 minutes in. If anyone wants to collab with me feel free to send me a PM. I already got kitthehacker. I could for instance use a good bass player. I could record most of the stuff myself, but I think collaborating on this would be more interesting, and plus it'd make less work for me. The composition so far, a few parts are filler and a few transitions are not made.
I have a question. I make original music on the computer, and would like to submit that, but I am also in a band. can I submit my own track and the band's track? noone else in our band has an FP account. if I can't it's fine. PM me the answer, though. i never check his thread.

Could we get an update on the amount of plays etc? =)
As usual, here are the first 32 bars of the track I'm working on. I don't have any better ideas, so should I finish it?
snip fuck wrong thread lol
As Peppy would say: "Sorry guy! I'm gonna have to sit this one out!" I need to concentrate on finishing my album, sorry :(
I'm trying to think of a way to bypass having all the views be on the first song. One idea I'm kicking around is having a link redirector that will start on another track every time someone clicks on it. So one person clicks on it and it goes to track 5. Another person clicks on it and it goes to track 14. We had 94 downloads on the last album it seems, so most people stream it, meaning if we find a system like this is could work out. Is my idea perfect, probably not, because we could at least come up with some ideas that help. Also, we need some download credits for the next album. I am short of money for a number of reasons, so if anyone wants to donate $5-20 for download credits buy an album on bandcamp.
Could we get an update on the amount of plays etc? =)
Looking for a better way to get more than just the overall stats for the first 10 songs. If anyone knows how to get all the stats for a certain album send me a PM.
Is .wav really necessary? My exports are over 100mb ;-;
MS Paint and then just copypaste the list so that you get all the songs, link redirector sounds nice, removing the name of every artist and just list them as facepunch or something could be a good idea too (and then post the name of the artist in the description) since I'm certain by now a lot of people just skip to the artist they like. That could probably cause problems with shitloads of more skips though, so that idea might need more refining :v: [editline]19th September 2011[/editline]
Is .wav really necessary? Get we get a few more cover designs?
Is .wav really necessary? My exports are over 100mb ;-;
Bandcamp requires it. It allows for the best downsizing as well, because the more you encode the more artifacts will show up.
