Just try it out man, you'll love it. It's a great way to conserve weed as you don't need to smoke as much to get you high. The weed is burned almost instantly so you get all the smoke at once, straight from the blades. (except now, we managed to improvise a device to filter it through water and ice first). Makes blades alot less harsher and even more tasty.

Wouldn't you be able to basically take a bong and replace its bowl and/or downstem with something that angles down again, then use that as a funnel to get the smoke from your knives into your bong?
