You haven't been in Helsingborg then :tinfoil:
I live in Helsingborg and it's not as bad as people think.
What's the difference between Norway and Sweden? I'd love to visit Norway, been learning bits of the language.

Be on the lookout for hovercrafts full of eels. Also, in preparation, build up your alcohol tolerance like a brain-damaged cocaine labrat on speed or you'll never make it past a friday.
Well not to brag but our scenery is great. Sweden is great if you want cheap shit.
Compared to the US Sweden is pretty expensive. I can find a lot of hardware stuff cheaper in the US then I can here in Sweden.

Sweden is at least good for getting cheap internet, although I suppose that's not something you'll have to worry about, considering the length of the stay that is.
I go on vacation to sweden almost every few years or so and I got some relatives there so it's a pretty ok place. All nordic countires are almost like copies of eachother in terms of people and locations. Edit: So learn to speak the local language because that's polite even though almost everyone knows english and remember: Everything, i repeat, everything is very probably alot safer and cleaner than in US so there's not much need for paranoia.
Do you get this massive erection whenever you attack the US?
I live in Helsingborg and it's not as bad as people think.
My brother have been mugged, threatened, and that happened the day we decided to go there = Helsingborg is the source of Skåne's evil
Anything you do, don't go to Skåne (spoken like a real half-swedish danish-man). Stockholm's a nice place if you get into the older part of town, really. I really recommend going to Visby on Gotland, very nice old town, with a lot to see, especially in the summer. If you're going the winter, you should really see the northern parts of Sweden.
When I was in Piteå, I thought it was a nice town. Might have something to do with all of my family being there, but the people seemed nice and the surrounding area was beautiful at the time.
I have relatives living in Jönköping/Husquarna area. I rarely care about what a place looks like. More about it's content. But that place is fucking gorgeous. Skåne is so flat and boring now that I think about it.. I want to get out of here. Too many bad immigrants giving us good immigrants a bad reputation as well.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Sweden is a nice country, you should atleast visit it once in your life.

If you want to discover the nature rich areas of Sweden take a trip to the landscape "Småland" (north of Skåne). It is very beautiful during the summers. Shitloads of animals and other useless shit.

-snip- dumb question i guess
What's the difference between Norway and Sweden? Other than that the differences are few. Norway is cooler anyway due to Black Metal.

If you do what are their last name?
What's the difference between Norway and Sweden? Norway has better nature with impossible fjords and amazing mountains. Both are very similar outside that. I easily found an ad for Norway that showed touristy aspects of it, but sadly I couldn't find one for Sweden, though I know it still has a lot to offer.
What's the difference between Norway and Sweden? I'd love to visit Norway, been learning bits of the language.
Norway - Forced gender equality Sweden - Not as feministic as Norway Norway - Smaller than Sweden Sweden - Bigger than Norway Norway - Not as urban Sweden - More urban than Norway Landscapes are pretty much the same. Sweden still has a lot of its wilderness left. Practicaly one of the few European nations besides Russia that does. Lookwise Swedes & Norwegians aren't that phenotypicaly different.

If it makes you feel better. Iceland is apparently more feministic than Norway, happy?
No, I'm not offended or anything, it's just that you choose the weirdest fact and present them in the weirdest way. Cola is less healthy then milk. Milk is more healthy then cola. The repeating kind of way. And why would a tourist care about gender equality or areal? Plus the landscape of Norway is incredibly different from that of Sweden, it's one of Norway's selling points. Your post was all over a very weird one, so I raised an eyebrow.
He asked what was the difference. I gave him differences. The size part was a bit of a joke, though. I kept seeing people use landscape & wilderness as a selling point. Both countries are equally beautiful in that aspect so its really a moot point, both countries still have remaining intake forest and Sweden has more land covered by old growth forest than Norway. So i honestly don't get the landscape arguement. Neither one of them is lacking in the category.
Norway can you please drop your prices so I can afford going there? Thanks in advance.
On the subject of landscape, Norway is famous for fjords. Such as the Geirangerfjord and the mountains up north. Sweden is much flatter with more forest growth. Norway has a chain of mountains extending across its spine, including one of Europe's tallest mountains. Western Norway is gorgeous with fjords and mountains like this everywhere; One thing is seeing it on pictures, another is actually being there. It's way better in person. A bit of Northern Norway as well; However eastern Norway looks very much like Sweden.
Titfucking balls, I live in Piteå, did you go with your family or do you have family there? If you do what are their last name?
We stayed with family. The people we stayed with are my grandma's cousins, last name Ericcson, although that is name through marriage. We also have family with the last name Nyman living there.

That looks really fucking dangerous
That looks really fucking dangerous
It's a fairly steady viewing platform. You should see Kjeragbolten. It's this rock; Lodged 1 kilometer over the fjord below. I've stood on it and it's fucking terrifying. Similar, but less dangerous is Kannesteinen. I climbed up on it, like these kids did;
