Should I watch it from the start or "when it gets good".
Watch it from the start, but seriously, don't think it's bad from the first season. The second season gets a lot better, and from season 3 onwards it's fantastic. Problem with season 1 was they were trying to hard to be like the British series.
UK office is better.
ultra wrong [editline]25th September 2011[/editline] ur biased because ur from the uk as an impartial outsider, us is best [editline]25th September 2011[/editline]

Well yeah, British office uses actual humour where as Americans kind of go overboard, but still good. :>
the fact you call one 'actual humour', implying the other isn't, is incredibly stupid there is literally no such thing as american vs british humour there are examples of what you're supposed to typically find from either country in the other country it varies from show to show and comedian to comedian, just look at arrested development. it's entirely linguistical (only occasionally slapstick, but when it is...) and 10x better than the UK and US office combined could ever be
What I meant was, something like "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" is the humour that Americans are best at. And yes, it's much easier to watch as compared to something like In Bruges. It depends on how "laughable" it all is.

After the season premiere, I'm still not one hundred percent sold on the new office. Might just take a couple of episodes for me to jump on board, though, so I'll keep following.

Branch Wars. [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] I've seen this show too much.
Don't judge it on Season 1. The US version doesn't really come into its own until around season 3.
This. Season 3 is the only season I own on disk because its one of my favorites so far. I'd probably own the ones past 3 if I had the money.
I've never been sure as to if downloading a TV show is considered pirating. I'm sure you could make a case for it, especially if it is about to be released on DVD, but the area seems much more vague when I could at the same time TV a rerun of episode there being no issue.

But heck, that means watching clips and/or full episodes on YouTube is also illegal, so whatever.
Meh I'm just complaining because a lot of these hosting sites take down the videos in a hurry and don't at all keep any older videos up. Probably so you buy the DVD. I can't complain about this with The Office because they have every video up, but I can with other shows, like Superjail.
So happy that this thread is alive. Now I can freak out about the office with other people besides my IRL friends! also, Promo of next episode #1 #2 [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] Hey dad- oooh. oop.
Nice! Is it just me, or have they gone back to the old documentary-styled filming? If they did, then yay! Although it kinda makes me scared, because I've been begging them in practically every message board possible, to bring back the documentary-styled filming, and it was almost like they actually saw all my posts...
You're saying they haven't been sticking to documentary-styled filming?
Not like they used to for the first three seasons. Compare all the shots and feelings of the first couple of seasons, with the much more recent seasons.
Not like they used to for the first three seasons. Compare all the shots and feelings of the first couple of seasons, with the much more recent seasons.
It's not really a big deal because we know nothing about it. So it's just a camera.
It's not really a big deal because we know nothing about it. So it's just a camera.
General camera style can affect the feel and pace of a show. Well that's all I'm really trying to say for that matter.
