I did not like this season at start, but I am enjoying this Florida story line.
if I was jim obviously not, he's a very nice guy
but the new girl is v hot and i would definitely bang her
No way would he do anything intentionally to hurt Pam
Jim's too nice a guy to bang Cathy.
Seriously he is like Nice Guy of the Year, every year.
You know what, I hope Jim bangs her. That would make things so interesting.
I seriously hope that pam and jim go through a rough patch. It would bring conflict to the series.
So now there is talk that Greg Daniels wants to reboot the show but with some new and old characters in it (worked well for scrubs...right?) http://tv.ign.com/articles/122/1222996p1.html
Honestly it is just getting sad now.
Actually anything Greg Daniels has to do with The Office actually feels likes the old Office. I would love for him to be the showrunner(?) again. Current Office is cool, and I'm totally fine with, but I would much prefer classic Seasons 1-3 Office.
What's even more sad is "The Farm" spin-off Dwight is getting. Sure, I shouldn't judge on something that is probably still in pre-development stages (perhaps not at all, but I wouldn't know). But usually I'm not based on ideas, and quite honestly the idea they're even bothering with it is horrible to me.
But if anything, I think they should just let it die.
We'll see, though.

We'll see, though.
I meant more of how everyone is leaving the show, The two people who loved the office the most will not be there when it ends. I thought "Good bye Michael" was sad, I don't think i can prepare myself to see Dwight and half of the main cast go. Season 9 is going to be terrible, so i agree it is better they are trying to do something new.
It's just not the same without Michael and I got really sad in the episode where he left.
So apparently it was a mistake for my friend and I to start watching The Office (US) at the very beginning, because the first few episodes were cringe-worthy from start to finish. There were a few exceptions (mostly the Dwight vs Jim pranks), but pretty much anything and everything involving Michael was just a trainwreck for us.
By the 12th episode, we could not continue watching, we were cringing at the awkwardness so hard.
Apparently the 3rd / 4th seasons is when it starts to actually get good, though? We may have to try again, starting on season 3.
Are you cringing at the awkward situations that Michael gets in? Cause that's pretty much the appeal of the office, it's not gonna change
But if you're just cringing cause of bad jokes thn I dunno, give it a few more episodes and of nothing sticks I guess it's not for you

Anytime I re-watch the office i always skip the 1st series, I just personally cannot stand it. All good from season 2 on wards though.
I'm really bummed out hearing about the spin-off and reboot plans. I think the latter half of this season have been on par with the older episodes.

Don't know it to judge.
But I really liked last night's episode. So much development in the human situations that have gone on for years. Not necessarily a bad thing since it made sense.
I think Nellie's my favorite character. But I wish she had more lines to help justify herself for Andy.
i thought it was really weird, almost unrealistic compared to what normally happens
I see what you mean. Would you say it was, perhaps, over-the-top?
I don't like how many different bosses have come in and left since Michael left, It be nice for them to just pick one and stick with him/her. On a side not call it a hunch but since it was told that James Spader would be leaving the office. I get the feeling that this little insistent with Nellie could possibly get him fired. Since he allowed her to steal Andy's job.

so is Robert banging Nellie or something
I can't understand why he defers the position to Nellie over Andy
He's intimidated by her
I wish we were back in Seasons 1-3 Office

it's just not the same without michael
Instead of "the farm" It should be "the house" or "the family", and be about Jim and Pam. Regaurdless if it's a bad idea or not it would do it 70000000000x better then Modern Family.
No talk about the last episode?
I mean, [sp]David isn't crazy anymore, and is possibly going to buy DM? thought there would be at least some discussion about that.[/sp]
Also thought the Jim and Dwight scenes were pretty funny. Dunno why but they seem to be funnier when they're not acting like rivals.
And another one bites the dust, it is being told that Kelly is also leaving the show to go to her new Fox show.

In all honesty, we should make a game where we predict who is the next one to jump the boat.
i am really surprised that this show is still watchable
it's been what, 6 years? and I still love it
yeah, I mean the quality has waned a good amount since the 3rd/4th season, but it's still a very good show, and I still watch it every week.
Im impressed with its longevity
