So some updates on season 9 set to premiere on September 20,
* John Krasinski and Ed Helms are expected to appear in fewer episodes for they are in process of filming several upcoming movies.
* Catherine Tate, who plays Nellie Bertram, who joined the series as a series regular in the second half of season eight, will continue with the series.
* James Spader has opted not to continue on with the series.
* Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor) has departed from the series to focus on writing and starring in a comedy, The Mindy Project.
I also heard B.J. Novak (Ryan) will be in very few episodes if any at all.
That is fact - he'll be also be writing lesser.
And for all of this, Greg Daniels is returning full-time. So it's going to be interesting to see how this all is going to work out.
There was talk of him rebooting the show, with some old characters still in it. Sounds kinda like that is going to happen.
I just watched the episode in season 8 that starts with [sp]Andy's Mom "dying"[/sp]
Fucking great.
The Office will be closing it's doors after Season Nine.

Here are some spoiler-ish tidbits on what we're going to expect to see for this last season: http://www.officetally.com/the-office-to-end-after-season-9#comments
This sounds very promising.
It be nice to see if Michael comes back, Even if it is just one episode.
This is the one I'm most excited about:
[sp]We'll find out who's behind the documentary, meet some of them.[/sp]
One of the new episodes is called "[sp]Roy's Wedding[/sp]"
Wow, this is really the last season. It's been so long, I don't know what to do when it's gone.
Last night episode was pretty good. [sp] Loved how they mentioned Michael in the episode[/sp]
I especially loved the cold open. [sp]Interviewers finally talking and even referencing how dull the series was getting... And poor Jim :( [/sp]
Still hate how dumb Kevin is getting, especially for a person who wins poker tournaments.
Yeah... Kevin's stupidity and Creed's insanity feels a lot less subtle than how they used to be. I do however like that Andy is starting to show his original angry side.
I'm getting worried about Jim now though :(

The kevin part made me worry. Creed seemed pretty on-par with his character though, and made me laff. Hohoho ha.
does anyone else have the bluray of the office season 6, If so how the hell do you get the discs out?
Today's ending was sad. :(
Parks And Recreation thread should have people posting in it, it's been better than the Office for a while now.
This season of the Office has been pretty great so far.
This thread is pretty silent...
Season has been good so far, seems to be getting a bit darker. I like how they're starting to acknowledge the camera crew more.
is this the first time we've ever actually seen the camera crew?
[editline]27th January 2013[/editline]
i thought the whole camera crew thing was completely ambiguous until just now
Definitely first time we've seen them, but they have been acknowledged relatively often in the past.
Dwight's "I love you" to Jim in the previous episode was gold.
Well, I'm glad it didn't turn out to be a love triangle between Jim, Pam and Brian the mic guy
He looks like that Maroon 5 singer
The last episode (Couples Discount) felt like nothing happened...
Like, they didn't even seem to attempt much humor. It was mostly story.
[sp]I'm glad the Brian liking Pam plot-line did not continue more, it seemed like a gimmick. I suppose Andy coming back was pretty funny.[/sp]
If this weeks episode was a The Farm teaser thingie the spinoff series might not be too bad.
Shame it got down turn, It was actually pretty funny.
Also does this mean no more Dwight? It's like they don't want anyone to keep watching.
The Farm never got picked up. They just decided to air parts of the backdoor pilot as a regular episode of The Office. Dwight's not going anywhere I don't think.
