I'll be the first to say I teared up during the airport scene. It just hit me like a wave or something, realizing that this was it for him.
And the scene where he said goodbye to Jim, that caught me off guard. Damn. I'm getting all sad and crap again. :smith:
Fuck, I lost it as soon as Dwight did his talking head. Aw, man..
EDIT: And holy shit I don't know what depresses me even more: the episode, or the ungrateful, overthoughtful fans. Seriously they pick and choose whatever out of every episode then say "oh wow disappointing" or "this show's going downhill" - like really? One thing's for sure: don't let the community drag you down of your own opinion.
Oh god I didn't ever think that The Office could make me cry ;_;
Woah. So Will Ferrel is temporary?
I really hope Ricky Gervais or Will Arnett get it. I like Jim Carrey but he doesn't really fit the show very well. Ray Ramano is just meh.
Such a sad episode. :frown:
They should give it to Gilbert Gottfried
Wait no no NO BAD IDEA
It was a good episode, it made me sad. I am glad Will Ferrel is temporary because he is just shouts alot.
When Michael Rang Holly to say he can't do it, I genuinely thought he would stay.
I want to yell at a cake too.
I teared up when Dwight read that paper. Never expected The Office to make me cry.
Oh man. That was sad.
Sad episode. so many bits made me well up, especially the bit when he's eating his lunch. Just brought it home that he's never going to be there again.
Preview for next week.

Oh and a sneak peek at what the guest stars will look like.
It sucks Will isn't staying for the replacement job, but I'm stoked to see Jim Carrey and Ricky Gervais coming up. Oh shit Ray Romano too.
Such a sad episode. Steve Carell will be missed.

I like how you have to watch an ad to watch an ad.
Got really sad when Dwight read his letter, teared up a bit.
Started crying when he was saying goodbye to Jim.
Goodbye Michael ;'(
Only a few more episode :smith:
jsut saw the episode where michel proposed holly.
I teared up. it was beautiful.
the First time i see new boss is Will ferrell

Will Ferrel Isnt even funny
Oh god that episode made me want to cry so much, but I couldn't cause I was with people. Jim's goodbye was so amazing.
Man, it is awful that Steve is gone; show will probably bomb now. But at least Will isn't staying.
Though James Spader looks good for the manager "position".
I like the replacement guy, but his character seems unfitting.

Personally I think the other characters can hold up the show themselves. It isn't like Micheal is the only interesting character that people care about.

I know you said personally but I still would like to say I firmly disagree with you.
Well Im going to keep watching, but I don't think it's a good idea to renew it anymore unless they introduce another strong character like Steve was.
Like, Jim Carrey.

Another strong character, and familiar?
On the episode "Broke" S05E25 does anyone know what the Korean on the bus says?

What about it?
Did anyone else get a sense of how there was no closure? I hated it; I really felt how everyone felt when Michael didn't appear at the party, and I felt so damn sad for everyone. That was not a place for satire, what Will did. Even though it was his character, sometimes being realist is just too bad.
Although I didn't particularly like Will Ferrel's character, I couldn't help but feel really sad when he came in and couldn't speak properly. Was a good episode however up until that IMO. Does anyone know who the next part-time manager is going to be?
