Why does Will suddenly sound like Steve this episode? The whole time i was like "Did Michael just come in?"
Although I didn't particularly like Will Ferrel's character, I couldn't help but feel really sad when he came in and couldn't speak properly. Was a good episode however up until that IMO. Does anyone know who the next part-time manager is going to be?
I think in the next episode, Dwight is going to be a temporary manager until they do interviews for a permanent position on the season finale.
I love this show but any of the channels that show them never show them in order so the main story is all jumbled up. The Comedy Network does this sometimes with My Name is Earl and it confuses the hell out of me.
I did not expect the basketball hoop part :v:
That opening definitely felt a bit...odd and empty without Michael.
Looved tonight's episode. - definitely forgiving after my dislike of last week's.
Can't wait to see who the new manager is! That licence plate at the end of the promo was such a tease!
I definitely hope there is a new manager, Will Ferrell is NOT suited for The Office.
Sure, he's hilarious on Saturday Night Live and his movies, but definitely NOT The Office.
Is this show still really alive?
This episode was actually really funny. Felt a bit sad for Dwight.
This was a very good episode.
I'm actually looking forward to next week's unlike the past few episodes.
God oh god, I hope James Spader gets signed on to replace Steve. I love him so much from Boston Legal.
So will we find out next season or is there one more episode left?
I thought Jim Carrey would be a good replacement until I heard him doing that accent, if he kept that up for longer than 5 minutes i'd switch off. I liked that guy who was pretty much Dwight #2, some pretty funny lines.
This whole 'love story' with Erin and Andy is also ridiculous. It makes no sense anymore.
Lets get Gervais to be the new boss for a while. Now that would be interesting.
I hate how they're leaving it until september though.
I'm really disappointed that they didn't reveal who the new boss is going to be and with how little you got to see the candidates.
I hope they pick Ray Romano or Ricky Gervais to play the new manager.
Ricky Gervais will not be the new manager. Read his blog. http://www.rickygervais.com/thissideofthetruth.php
'And once and for all... I would never ever in a million years take a permanent role in the show as an actor. It really would be fucking mental. You don't start a company to work on reception. ' - Post on his blog.
I also don't think Will Arnett will be able to do it. Check his IMDB out, he's got two movies to be made so I reckon he won't be able to make it to film the Office, but that's just my speculation.
Oh yeah I guess I never posted this even though this is the office thread.
Both John Krasinski and B.J Novak went to my high school.
They've come visited for special events, and have given away things like signed original scripts from the office.
The last episode was hilarious.
Hope Ray Romano is chosen to be the new manager.
It seems as though the writers are just as clueless as Jim when it comes to who should get the job. Seriously unimpressed with last nights episode. Their onslaught of guest stars was just a lazy distraction from the fact that they don't have a real replacement for Steve Carrel. It was clear from moment one that none of the guest stars were serious candidates anyway.
Oh man I lost it when [sp]when Dwight came in wrapped up in bandages.[/sp]
I was pretty stoked to see James Spader in the finale, Was a huge fan of BL.
Sucked that they didn't actually name a manager.
I'm assuming the new manager is going to be someone in the office. So that means Dwight, Darryl, or Andy. Darryl is too normal and probably won't get the job. Dwight, well, you know what happened with him. Andy might be a possibility now that Gabe is out of the search committee. Did anyone else think it was hilarious how absolutely no one really cared Gabe was leaving. The whole scene with Creed was hilarious too.
That one little part with Creed playing the guitar, I'm pretty sure he lobbied for that.
i just started watching the office on netflix and i must say that it is the funniest show i have seen in ages.
i cant help but feel sad for phyllis all the time though :smith:

Don't, she's creepy.
I used to watch The Office religiously, it was my favorite show. Then, everyone knows that one guy who follows you around and tells you about shit he is obsessing over for a few weeks and then moves onto a new thing showed up. The sheltered kid that doesn't fit in and expects people to feel bad when he is extremely annoying. He starts babbling about The Office, and I was like, "Oh shit." 10 times a day he would be like, "Oh, yeah it was like in The Office when..." or "Oh did you see the rerun of The Office last night? The one from two fucking years ago?????"
Help me. I want to love the show again. :smith:

Tell him about a different show that is terrible or you hate. That way when he talks about it, all he'll do is make you hate that show even more. He'll also leave the office alone.
The british office isn't on BBCA :suicide:
