This is not normal. You have very low blood pressure and need to get it checked out, possibly start drinking coffee to increase it to get rid of the blackouts. I've also got low blood pressure but only very rarely does it make me go a bit 'fuzzy' when standing up, not every day.
I disagree, mine is fine and if I'm sitting about for a while and I get up my eyes go fuzzy, my head hurts, I get really dizzy, and I go, 'Oh fuck!' then fall over. Totally normal. I CAN'T DIE DAMNIT!
Getting up really fast makes blood rush from your head faster which makes you go a tad dizzy.
This happens to me! once I was reaching to get something at my nans house and I went completely blind! it was horrible!
This used to happen to me. You're getting up too fast and possibly holding your breath during stretches. Get up from your seat/bed slower, and make sure you inhale as you stretch and exhale as you relax.
I get mega headrushes atleast once a day.
Go to the doctor.
I have no idea how this happened, but here it goes:
Usally, when I wake up and do my first day stretch, I kinda go "part blind". Im not sure if anyone else would get it, but the corners of my eyes would go black and I couldnt see. I assume this happens to everyone, but thats not what I'm here to tell you.
Today, I woke up and was sitting on a chair. I got up, had a stretch, then bam, the eye thing happened. Only this time, it consumed my whole eyes, I couldnt see anything, my eyelids were open, but I was completly blind. I then felt myself fall to the floor. A few minutes later I was woken up by someone in the house, who assumed I was just playing around.
Anyone know what this could possibly mean?
The eye thing happens to me a lot. However when I get up it consumes my whole eyes but I don't pass out.
I've been told getting up slower and drinking more water solves it, but it's never worked for me
You stimulated your vasovagus nerve which in turn slowed your heart to a bradycardia while your arteries got wider. But you are asking fp
Head rushes. You're getting up too fast and it's an indication of too high or too low blood pressure. Might want to go on a diet or take some heart meds.
It's called headrush, it happens to everyone, you didn't fall unconscious, you went blind momentarily, hit your head, and got knocked out.
but i would still consult a physician.
I got that just now, I just stood up and then everything went sorta black and I fell to the ground..Got a carpet burn
This (eye thing, not passing out) happens to me every now and then. Lately, though, I only get it during a particularly vigorous marching band practice (how they expect you to constantly exhale, make art, and run at the same time I will never know). If you get this again, just sit back down and wait for it to go away.
You got up too quick, I get that feeling all the time, but I've not passed out from it.
This. That's happened to me several times, but not to the point of completely passing out. Sometimes I've had to sit back down, but that's the worst.
i was taking a shower and leaned down to pick up the soap (not a jail joke) and when I stood back up I passed out, taking the shower curtain, shower rod, and a shelf to the floor with me
Stop choking yourself while you stretch
you need them oxygens
Oh sweet, no school tomorrow because of this thing.
Low Blood Pressure.
God I hate that tingling feeling when I stand up after sitting in my chair for a few hours... I once fell over, almost on my cat, who was not very helpful.
Also, I seem to have nosebleeds in hot showers... Really pisses me off because I like warm showers :(
Every once in a while I'll sprint out of bed to turn off my obnoxious alarm clock on the other side of the room, only to pass out once I get there

Aaa; nosebleed, once I talked to my friend over messenger, and this had happened, I had a bloody keyboard afterwards. Probably a normal thing when you grow up out of puberty, but that was very long time ago for me.
It is something about getting up too quickly, blood flow and blood pressure.
Nothing to worry about, just get up slowly in future and don't stretch till you're up and about.
[editline]03:12PM[/editline]
or you may have type 2 diabetes
Isn't this the same sort of thing that happens when you do that fainting trick that's all over youtube?
Im probably extremely late but here goes nothing.
I get this occasionally, not the passing out part, but the tunnel vision. I think its called a blood rush or whatever, you stand up to quickly and the blood rushes from your face and you lose oxygen to the Eyes and brain, thus you get a light headed feeling and tunnel vision/blindness for a few seconds.
Off topic sorta: When people are beheaded they instantly pass out and go blind from extreme blood loss to the brain, however the brain remains active for about 5 minutes until it dies from lack of oxygen.

Dizzy spells. They can really get to ya sometimes.
How said before, it's totally normal.
When I was young, I also fucked around with my body by crouching while I breathed really fast (for around 20 seconds). Then I stood up quickly, breathed in one more time (huge now) and hold on the air in my loungs. It only took about 3 seconds before I passed out.
One time, I smashed with my head on a flowerpot. The pot has been broken and I got a headache. Since then I stopped it (well I was 12 or so when I did this - so really long ago).
Happened to me once. I scuba dive, so I had to get my heart scanned and tons of other stuff before I was allowed to dive again. They didn't find anything odd though, just a tad low blood pressure.
If you have low blood pressure, and you suddenly get up and start stretching yourself, the blood flows out of your head and you find yourself blackened out a few minutes later. Sometimes when I get up and start stretching I just feel dizzy and stuff, you on the other hand, need to do something about it.
So you saw nothing in your flashforward?
What if in six months, you could be dead! D:

And then you became an epic physicist.
Weird how things turn out.
Thanks for the information, Guys. Ill still see a doctor, just incase.
Yes, go to the fucking doctor.
You probably have blood pressure or blood sugar problems.
None of this "You stood up too hast hurf durf" bullshit.
