The best FP can do is tell you if this is normal or not, which it isn't. Even if you get up too fast this shouldn't happen.
Go see your Doctor, that's what they're there for.
You go half blind because you don't drink enough water.

It is normal. It's just lack of water.
it was probably from being too gay
I only get dizzy enough like that to the point of my eyes failing out and starting to see stuff whiter then normal when ive been resting without moving, and suddenly get up really fast. This might be due to low blood pressure, as your suddenly "requesting" higher blood pressure to get up.
Or at least I think its sorta like this... It makes sense...
EDIT: Seems like this is right, from what I read around in earlier posts :P but is it really due to not drinking water?
Blood Rush.
It's blood rushing to your head.
Edit: ^Kane! :argh:
I'm not a doctor, but it probably has to do with the stretching. Call your doctor.
Drink coffee!
I'm srs. It helps
Yeah my eyes completely blackout if i lift my head up to fast or stand up to fast when i have been in a downward position for a long period of time for example a test. Weird feeling, does anyone else's eyes hurt when this happens? I always thought it was just me since i have a birthmark on my face, its nothing serious and it has faded a lot since i had laser treatments but maybe its something more serious. Like that guy said low blood pressure

Maybe the blackout part, but i disagree about the eye thing. I drink a lot of water and this happens to me a lot.
Everytime I stand up after laying down my eyes always fuzz up so I can't see, and I either get really weak in my legs or I feel dizzy.
Also once I was standing up, had this happen, remember massive pain, and when I wake up about 20 seconds later, I realise I hit my head on a chair.
This is not normal. You have very low blood pressure and need to get it checked out, possibly start drinking coffee to increase it to get rid of the blackouts. I've also got low blood pressure but only very rarely does it make me go a bit 'fuzzy' when standing up, not every day.
I've got the part blind thing too sometimes.
That just now happened to me. :whoptc:
I was in a small boating accident when I was in 3rd grade, and hit my head very hard against the wall and passed out.
Since then, I occasionally pass out, but it's more like quickly falling asleep. I even have enough time to lie down on the ground so I don't hurt myself. Unfortunately, this odd behavior of stretching out nice and comfy on the hard sidewalk then falling asleep looks like a joke to most people, so they walk away thinking, "What an attention whore!"
I get this too, apart from I have not blacked out completely, I went blind but didn't hit the floor ;) did you have a headache and feel like you were in shellshock too? My mum said it was low blood pressure, if you had high blood pressure would you wake up and suddenly have great vision?
if you had high blood pressure would you wake up and suddenly have great vision?
Nahh.. It causes these annoying spots in your vision, especially if you cough or exert yourself. Eventually it will cause damage to your retina and you'll go blind. Damn I need to get on blood pressure meds.. Maybe quit smoking too. I think I run 170/120 most of the time.
