just a chaotic sketch i liked. [img_thumb]http://i.imagehost.org/0037/backwoods_altar.png[/img_thumb]
I love having the undersketch in this one, it makes it feel even better. I wonder if it would look any neater in black and gray instead of black and blue. [editline]1:11[/editline] nah, just looks cluttered when turned gray.

My last name is Taylor, we should be in a picture together.
I think what I like most in your drawings is your signature, makes me jealous. Other than that, lots of awesome potential.
wow do you could do this for a living
His art is styled. Too many artists can draw but have nothing that sets them apart. He has no problem here.
Her* art is styled :D
Her* art is styled :D
You serious? Taylor is the manliest man on the planet
You serious? Taylor is the manliest man on the planet
no worries, faggots can't handle my shit, because they to busy trippin' here's a doodle.
You're, like, my favourite internet artist. Fuh realz. What programs do you use for painting/drawing, other than ms paint? [editline]Edited:[/editline] I'm probably starting to sound creepy. Sorry about that!

Sorry about that!
no man, it's cool, i think it's great that you enjoy my work i mostly use photoshop and paint tool SAI for drawing, Gimp and Paint.Net for typographical stuff and sometimes retouching photos. and open canvas for doodling.
I really like your style!
Dear facepunch. Long time no see. i know i haven't been around much lately. and i'm sorry for that. Times have changed. and i've grown older. I don't hate you, well, i kinda hate you, next to a few people on here. that are actually cool beans. so you know, i don't update this often, well not lately though. It's because school is sort of a main priority. next to friends and skateboarding and art. MS paint seems so obsolete for me. i'm not dragging you guys down for using ms paint, but don't you think it's time we move on to better things? Wel, see you guys later, i've been busy with other shit so yeah. Enjoy this old drawing, i think it's from a year ago or so.
Still jealous of your art taylor. Always will be

Why are all the other non-msp threads moved to creationism corner faster than a speeding bullet but this one gets just praise? I mean, it takes a lot of effort to change regular msp lines to those that look like they've been made using pen pressure, and it takes even more effor to implement random anti-aliasing artifacts with Paint to make it look like it was made with Photoshop to look like it was made with Paint, while failing to do so. wat Faking Paint'ness on pen pressure'd lines is easy with Photoshop. Use a regular brush in duotone mode and you get those nice inky lines. Then you can color it in using Paint. Anyway it's all awesome. Just not Paint. :)

I thought all of this was paint... But now that it's not this thread should either be moved or quickly filled with MS Paint art.
Honestly, the tool isn't the issue so much as the style; MSP section is about the pixel art much less the program. I know at least a few people around here who use gimp and photoshop.
The thing is it's MS Paint because things are much harder to achieve in MS Paint. Dai you're completely wrong in this one. Other tools have layers, gradient tool so pallete making is a breeze, pressure sensitivity, more than 10 undos... It's just not the same at all. It's not as innovative as it is in MS paint and requires much less effort.
I agree with Nyaa here. The only thing I use photoshop for is when adding text (win7 paint tends to AA the text which is shit), for making gifs or for when I lost transparency on a picture. All the drawings itself remain fully MS paint'd.
the points are plus and minus, and I understand the challenge involved is unique and gives it that "Wow I finished something this awesome" feel when you do something good, but I think the comparison is only applicable within this section. If you made this thread in CC, people would bitch about it not being in the MS Paint section even if it was made expressly known that it was done in photoshop.
I agree with Nyaa here. I know that Taylor doesn't use MSPaint, for some reason it doesn't really bother me. It's more bias than anything, because he's a cool dude.

Most of my old msp work, are artifacts that just disappeared in time. But, if this is sort of an issue, i could just start drawing stuff in ms paint. no biggie.
The thing is it's MS Paint because things are much harder to achieve in MS Paint. Dai you're completely wrong in this one. It's very naive to say something like that, and very biased to judge someone by what program he or she might use. I know, it seems extremely lame having a discussion over what takes more effort or what is more original. but it's just such a snotty remark to say.
No it's not snotty, it's a fact. If you use Photoshop no one knows if you penciled that with regular settings, or used a pressure sensitivity. It's just not fair to everyone else here that actually uses MS Paint. And I'm not kind of rude, you are rude for posting something in the MS Paint forum and not even saying it's not made in MS Paint. Now with that said, I thought we established that you can continue posting your art here as much as you want. But if Plutonia took the time to find out your art isn't MS Paint, we obviously DO care whether you make it in MS Paint or not.

In using photoshop, the only thing we really gain is layers, pressure sensitivity, and color transparency. Which arent that big of a deals.
