People seriously have to learn to fucking read. Nyaa never said you were uninnovative, she simply said using photoshop was LESS innovative than using MS Paint and takes less effort to draw a picture because MS Paint is less resourceful. That makes fucking sense right? To give you an example, because YOU are the one that has trouble comprehending simple things and start insulting others; let's say MS Paint is a bike, you have to ride through cold harsh weather, while Photoshop is a car, who do you think will have to take more effort in moving from a to b? You are a good artist, but seriously, fucking read, grow up and move this shit to the General Discussion thread. Would you post stuff you've made in MS Paint in the Photoshop section? Or would you go to a car fanatics forum and post there bicycles instead? I think not.
Nyaa, I love you but you just have to take a seat on this whole photoshop-vs-MSPaint pixel-art deal. Some people favor the challenge and 'innovative' skills necessary to succeed with MS Paint, and others prefer the manageability of layers or whatever people prefer to gain from photoshop to attain the same ends. Sure it's cheating if you're using it to blend colors and such, but stop and think. If you even look at the first page you'll see 95% of the stuff here is MS Paint style and having pressure sensitivity, fancy color blending and anti-aliasing had no part in the MS Paint style works. The only thing to gain is easier color or subject management with layers, which isn't a big deal at all. In fact, if MS Paint had a layer function like it should there's be no place to argue at all. This is Taylor's art thread. That means it's all of taylor's art, MS Paint or otherwise, but given the style is primarily MS Paint it's obvious why it's here instead of CC or PSC. The people here appreciate the style more than any. If you can't get past that horrifyingly tiny hurdle I don't know what else to say.
Although I like taylor's art... I don't think that's paint

yes, it isn't ms paint. We usually tell off people who don't use MS Paint in this section so I just thought I'd mention it cause it's not the first image that wasn't paint you've posted.
All of you guys are late... And to think not even one agree when that was posted

There's no point in using another program in the MSPaint section since there's zero challenge then. It's not about getting the ''style'' right (which by the way makes no sense since that would mean that my style, rety's and say, wolfeclaws style all fits under the same art style, which is not the case), it's more about the drawing process. Making something good with a basic program. So I guess what I'm saying is that I sort of agree with except for the fact that it's not a tiny hurdle, it's a very big one.
Look at the the first page and tell me what amazing leap in ability photoshop allows for that kind of work. It'd probably be more annoying to use layers since the only colors are solid and you'd have to manually paint in new outlines to fill in on a new layer. The second page shows much more lean toward photoshop gimmicks such as pressure and opacity in tools, though. That is pushing the lines that are more in the red zone than others, so I guess I should draw my own line and say I'm arguing more for page one's type of stuff than two, but again this is an art dump thread and I find it fit that this as a whole is MS Paint section material. Let's try an experiment; move it to CC and see what happens.
Page 1 is indeed more kocher than the rest For those I actually do/did think it was made in MSPaint

I extremely, absolutely love shit like that I just quoted. The best goddamn style on facepunch, cause fuck aricipello, this is the shit.
never go to the ms paint section but I like your work!!!
a question to anyone from CC who enjoyed this thread (and reads this far in without saying 'ugh' and closing the page), what are your thoughts on bringing MS Paint into CC? That section is running fairly slow and a lot of the [good] stuff seems pretty appreciated by the general art community here.
yes, the MSpaint is in the exact location where no one cares to scroll. same thing with CC, we rarely get someone form otter boards here, but we're not off as bad as the mspaint. Been in the mspaint sometimes, really incredible artists there are, like taylor and that dude with the self-made tool avatar and OCD or something. There are some artists that really deserve shitloads of praise.
elf-made tool avatar
link?
"elf-made" in yer quote. Pictured a bakery in a tree. Also dog, you get that book in yet? I'm probably just gonna toss a new one off to UPS or something if nothing went through.
