Because that was Perfurmly who banned you. He would ban for almost nothing and then ban someone else for good measure.. Dajitsu doesn't ban nearly as much for some reason..

Perf is hardcore with the rules, and half the time probably just skims through and spots stuff instead of reading into the context. I bet most mods do that, it just gets hard to read everything after a while.
However, I naturally read just about everything in the CC and PScontests sections, so I understand at least a little more about the situation, the intent, and the potential hilarity that could follow. I don't just ban because something's a technical foul, I ban because it's [i]deserved[/i].
I think that's what bridges the gap between me and perf. He's still cool, just hardened from all the past time of moderatin'. Who knows, maybe I'll turn into a grumpy "Shutthefuckup" banner one of these days...
