I'm quite frankly impressed with this guy. Restoring a normal ICE vehicle is a mounting task, but to try to restore a Tesla.. good god. Happy to see that he has made incredible progress on the vehicle and has made it (almost) a daily driver state with minor problems.
Who would have thought that for fronting 28k for the vehicles and then a year of labor that he would have a fully fuctional Tesla Model S for ~16k.

Bajas are the shit
My Dad had an 02 5-spd while I was growing up. The things are okay. Kinda of small and powerless for a truck and impractical at hauling people. Nice for basic suburb life yardwork and grocery runs, but beyond that a bit dull. And their interiors are garbage boring compared to even most econo domestics of the time.

Fun fact: I had inherited one of the rarest version of these. 1989 (?) Canadian Direct Connection Dodge Rampage.
They only made 258 Direct Connection Rampage's total, and even fewer went to Canada. The Canadian ones were fully loaded with all the cool options like the roof spoiler, scoop, and body kit. I'd guess around 40 were in Canada, and even fewer left, I sold it to a kid who more than likely scrapped it. There wasnt a single solid panel on it and it was infested with mice.
Kept the special plate though

In other news I got 90% of the top truss designed for my axle and my buddy was bored so he finished sprucing up my axle.

I still have to find a way to fill in those holes, I tried to do a spider web style design but it didnt work out, and I was experimenting with other things before I had to drop my friend off at home.
Any suggestions? I was thinking something like teeth, or I could fit "cummins" or "12 Valve" in the slots.

That's why it's added in as extra bit, just because It had a campertop.
I've seen people convert it to one with minor bodywork though.
