I also stumbled over a 12volt cooler complete with own bag, and coffee maker that fit in the cupholder.
All Audi branded.

New rad is in, don't have much faith in it as the build date was mid 2014. It's been sitting in a warehouse for a few years, while the others were ~ 6 months old when i got them.
I expect this one to only last 100-1000 miles again, and I'll just spend $350 on an OEM rad.
my current life goal is to own an alto works rs-x with the new H2R motor in it
it weighs like 700kg, has AWD, and the H2R motor puts out something like 350HP from the factory
There was actually an Alto Works for sale near me on craigslist. First one I've seen here.

There's also a '97 RX-7 for sale because they apparently don't realize that writing "Offroad Only" doesn't mean it won't get impounded.
uh oh, I started painting something

I might be starting to actually like a project car

needs hand sanding and a few color coats

That price is fucking ridiculous lol, you can get an alto works RSX straight from Japan for like 2.5-3k
Went to the dunes and tried to go up a path that was off camber and up hill, with a nice dropoff of about 10 feet to the right. Ended up sliding off the side and then not being able to recover. Each thing I tried ended up with me sliding further off the edge so I had to bring out the winch.
The winch motor broke.

In the end it took my friend and I about an hour to dig it out and then using my floormats to get some traction while using the winch to mostly hold us from falling further off the edge since it wouldn't winch in.
That reminds me of when we got the ATV stuck in mud, tried to pull it out with the jeep. Got the jeep stuck while connected to the ATV, so we grabbed the tractor and pulled both out.
I really want to get back into a jeep 4 door and build a crawler rig, but there isnt any local trails to hit unless I drive 5 hours.
Looks so fun!

What kind of winch? I got atleast a half dozen uses on my HF 12k before she started making horrible noises. And one of those uses was pulling a 10x20 storage building 300ft threw mud with no rollers.
engo 10k. I got maybe 4 uses out of it until this time when it didnt even turn. I think the motor seized inside of it because i didn't break it the last time I used it, it was fine.

yeah I've got a fairly big range of trails here in oregon to pick from. about an hour away I have the tillamook state forest with loads of trails (browns camp), and then about 4 hours away are the dunes which I usually go to a few times a year maybe. quite a few things to do, and they're pretty fun! A four door is a bit harder to maneuver around tight trails with trees on each side, but I've made it through everything a 2 door has made it through so far.
A bird took a shit all over my engine bay, lol.

And then I decided I had to relocate where the speedo cable enters the car so that it's not right in the middle of the engine bay. Now it goes in down low just behind the gas pedal.

HFT winches, and this goes for all budget winches, last much longer if you open them up, use quality grease, etc.
Some people mod them with great results.
You shouldn't have to mod them, but the HFT 12k is half the cost of most 12k winches, i guess its what you expect there.

Did you air down? At 15PSI, those tires should've done pretty good.

I honestly only had to do one task with it and I returned it. The job paid well because the tow truck could not get to the building to lift it onto its bed so I had to drag it to the towtruck.
In the end, I honestly can say I did not like the auto tensioner. Also the winch mount to hitch thing was never designed for a 12k winch. :v:

Don't judge me I was in a hurry and never re spooled.

except in my case it was wet clay, not sand.

Yeah I was running them at 11 psi actually, they do well but it was just a combination of a lot of camber and speed required to get up the hill and there was a slight turn too.
I could be getting a free car soon, the only issue is that it smells like piss. Annoy know how to get the smell of piss out out of the seats?
piss on them again to cancel out the smell of the old piss
Take seats and carpet out.
[del]Turn it into drift car.[/del] Rent a shampoo machine. And shampoo anything fabric.
Clean cars interior bits with what ever you want.
Wait a few days to see if you wither have a smell in seats and carpet or still a smell in the car.
replaced the front control arm bushings and gave her a detail yesterday. 216k miles and running awesome.

I love that colour....it's a 330i right? God I want one of those :v:
what do you do to get a car that's been sitting for 2 years to start?
change battery, replace fluids, refill tires? it's a 98 grand cherokee that ran fine before it sat so i imagine no need to chank spark plugs n shit right?
i've read you should turn the crank manually to distribute after oil change but that sounds like a bunch of god dang hogwash to me
What you think? Good deal?

I tried SeaFoam to clean out my engine a little.
It was worth it just to see a car vape.
