I wonder how fast you would break drive train items with those tires. You would definitely have to re-gear.

I get drunk and order car parts I dont need about once a month, so don't worry it will happen. I also just got this neato china-spec head unit, still need to route the usb cable into the center console tho.

I honestly think it looks excellent without a drop tbqh
What head unit?
And is that an Ultra Gauge?

Eonon headunit, and yes its an ultra guage
Who's used fuel cells before? I've got a question on mine.
I have an RJS 8 gal that I'm gonna strap in the trunk of the Celica, since my factory tank was toast.
Similar to this;

It has 2 ports on the top, one that's a pickup and one that's meant for a return line.
Obviously I'm just running one line, pressure regulated, no return. So I figure I need to use the return port as my tank vent.
I wanted to verify.. can I run a hose up, loop in, then drop it through the trunk floor with a little filter or something? That should avoid any sloshing and also avoid anything stupid like a siphon effect (although without a pickup going down into the fuel I shouldn't have to worry about that anyway I suppose).
I feel like this is pretty important to get right, haha!
DO NOT VENT THAT TANK! If you vent a gas tank you are at risk of an explosion! Petroleum gasoline NEEDS to be under pressure to prohibit exploding, pressurised gas has a far less chance of igniting then when at atmospheric pressures, thats why when you pop your fuel cap it hisses at you.
Diesel tanks HAVE to be vented because it ignites under pressure. Cap that return line nipple/bung/fitting and make sure whatever you do so with wont shoot off, that will cause you a problem for sure. I learned this from several ASE mechanics that have been wrenching for the better part of their lives and one of the dudes works (worked?) For ford as a master mechanic.
No kidding? Very interesting. I suppose it's worth a shotski and I can always redesign it a fully sealed setup causes pressure (I forsee expansion pressure shoving fuel up the line and flooding the carb on a hot day or something when it's sitting??)

Hey guys, looking to buy a welder under $600 that I can learn on and eventually (after practicing a lot) fix rust and stuff on the MR2.
I think I want a MIG welder, but I'm not sure which brand and model to get. Thoughts?
Removed the windshield with military precision.

Ive always heard that you should learn on a torch, so that everythig you do after that seems easy, but lazy man that i am, you could just grab a hf mig, aim and pull the trigger.
