I agree completely, so you're not alone. On both fronts.
5 years and 2000(3k?) Posts I believe
It's 5 years, 2k posts. It's how I became glod.
I'm a sucker for 30's style aircraft lightening cutouts There's just something so elegant about it. longitudinal engines on bikes are always cool but the way the whole bike tries to roll when you come on the throttle real hard always weirds me out when I'm riding one. my buddy's bmw R nineT is especially bad. longitudinal hondas aren't that bad probably because they weigh so much but on a lighter bike it can be pretty hardcore. never ridden a guzzi though so not sure how that one is my only experience with longitudinal engines on bikes is in hondas which weigh about as much as a minivan, urals which have 3 wheels so it doesn't really even matter, and bmws which are light nimble bikes that feel like they're gonna go upside down when you get hard on it
Fucking turbo blew up on my Neon. I haven't driven it in five days because the tires aren't safe when it's below 30F. Anyway, got about a block away from my house and saw there was fucking giant cloud of smoke rolling out the back. Turned back around. The cabin was full of oil smoke, by the time I parked it. At work now and don't have time to look at it until I get home. Probably going to put this in it... http://turbobayperformance.com/products/ftw-69xr Might as well go bigger.

When I wreck something on the racecar, I'll need to spend a shitload of money to get it back into shape... might as well spend some extra shitloads of cash to make it better then it was :v: [editline]9th January 2017[/editline]
Not to make light of misery but this is cool as hell!
Thanks! It's hard to find motivation to spend my free time holding a angle grinder for a few hours straight :v:

Like a HX35 off a cummins so you get dat dere huge tarbo lag (I honestly love turbo lag)

If i never use a wire wheel again i my life, i wouldnt be too displeased.
Before and after I can proudly say this turned out way worse then I was expecting. TIG welding on steel with some rust is IMPOSSIBLE. So I did the only thing I could think of, jam fuckloads of wire in there and make it appear decent from 10ft with an angle grinder.
Grinder and paint makes me the welder i aint.

A big wheel stocker is a direct bolt up and will do 400whp where the stock turbo typically runs out at ~330whp on E85 at 21psi.
It's 5 years, 2k posts. It's how I became glod.
I think it was 5yr and 3k posts, but they lowered it to 2k. At least, I'm 90% certain it was 3k when I hit it last year finally in this thread. Yes. It took me 6 or 7 years to type up however many it took. And I still never changed my avatar or put a little tagline there.... uups...
Either way, I think we can all agree its not worth it :v:

What's wrong with sea shanties?
If i was a cop or similar security man, id blare chicken on a raft on constant repeat all day long.
I had a key cut for the MR2 today from my VIN. I was so excited that it only cost me 11 bucks that when I filled my tank moments later, I drove away with my gas cap on the roof. That fill-up was 10 bucks more expensive than it should have been. :v: You win some and you lose some I guess. I'm just glad they had my key code registered. It beats having to take apart my door to look at the code on the lock cylinder.

I usually try to either fix it for them or let them know if I'm on my bike but when I'm in my car I just wish I could let them know somehow
I was walking into a truck stop n wyoming a week or two ago, and there was someone pulling out with their gas door open. I altered my course to walk next to the car and closed it. They noticed and rolled down the window to thank me. Made my day
