I've got WeatherTechs in the Miata, and they're fantastic! [editline]8th January 2017[/editline] I got my oil changed and tires rotated last weekend (free from the dealer, 10,000mi) and my tires are nearly toast. Front tires 7/32nds Rear tires 4/32nds As such, I just bought a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWs from TireRack on clearance for $87/ea I'll hold off on installing them as long as I can, so they have maximum tread when I go to Monterey in June. Might even buy some used tires in the next few weeks so I can hold off on installing them to just before the trip (1300 miles).
I got the same floor mats in my CX-3. They're fucking awesome.
metro hatches are going for big money these days. the sedans not so much
They want as much for that geo as I paid for my Crown Vic. With half as many miles.
Ok. Totally done with being in and out of the hospital hopefully. My dad had a 2000 Chevy (geo) metro. It had 300,000 miles on it and it was a piece of shit. He actually got it for free which is appropriate. The doors used to open when you turned too hard. Kind of exciting. The thing eventually died when the oil filter loosened off and dumped all the oil out. I came out with a couple quarts of oil and filled it, we spun the filter back on, and the engine started, but transmission no longer engaged in gear. Before that the transmission had a hole in it, my dad made a wedge out of oak and hammered it into the hole. It stayed there about 25k miles and was still in there. But everything totally died. We replaced the steering rack twice on it too. What a piece of shit.
Oohhh my goodness. That sounds like a college lifestyle. What a trooper. Here's the Celica engine, basically ready to go in.. hopefully within a week I can get to it. pretty
When I was in highschool we had 2 geo metros donated for shop cars for the kids to fuck around with. The one didnt run and was promptly disassembled beyond recognition. The other one needed a headgasket I think, and it got one and actually ran! It ran so good my shop teacher kept it as a daily driver Little did he know as victory for doing the headgasket we did so many neutral drop burnouts in that biatch
I'll make a rendition like that and see how it looks!
Mind tossing me the dimensions and plate thickness you're using? I'd like to have a go for a laugh

I want snow RWD snow fun [editline]11th January 2017[/editline] nvm forgot that I don't have any road cars :v:
It's raining today, looks like it'll keep going for a couple days now, and then it'll be freezing. I want motorcycle weather god damn it!
It snowed almsot 5 inches in 1 day here last week on my birthday. Now it's 70 degrees and is supposed to rain the next 4 days and I'm riding to class. The weather here is fucking weird [editline]11th January 2017[/editline] Speaking of riding, I still need to adjust the valve timing on the ninja, but I can't be assed to do it until I get new sparkplugs... But no one around here carries the ones it uses... And I can't be assed to order them online, so....
Was 0F last week. Today it's 65F, day after tomorrow is ice storms for the next three days. :what:

[thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/D6FDDE3C-35F1-4827-B7B7-05F0EB733FB7_zpsaoydicvg.jpg[/thumb] I dont mind it actually, my buddy is doing a WW2 inspired truck so it'd work good on his, but now mine. Heres a good amount of basic dimensions [thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/AE8627B9-F813-47B0-A48F-D7C39A59D787_zpsxwogz6jq.jpg[/thumb] I'm left handed, thats why its written wrong haha
We got over a foot. Haven't seen this much snow since I was a kid.
It was -35 yesterday with a decent wind going, we have about a foot of snow, maybe a little more. I want waaaay more so I can whip out the '86 J-Deere Shitfire 340 snowmobile
We got over a foot. Haven't seen this much snow since I was a kid.
It's like 50f and sunny down here if that makes you feel any better, I already miss the entire town being shut down.

I'm trying to find what kind of angles I should run, ideally flat but I need to figure out if I should offset the lower control arm forwards or keep it parallel to the top one and ahhhhhhhhhhh I love doing this
The snow is up to my running boards, but with chains my Vic is a tank.
Got a call from my buddy, he was stuck in the ditch just down the road. He was driving his greasy dodge diesel and a civic decided to hog the road. He tried to drive to the side to avoid her but he ended up getting sucked into the ditch. So I fire up my grandpa's Ram 4500 flat deck with a welder in the back, this bitch should be plenty heavy. Get some tow straps n' head on over, hook onto him, give the diesel a snort and the tow strap breaks, so I go back in I grab some chains. So on my way back I'm passing him and there's a FedEx truck in front of me, he hits a snowdrift on the road (we've had a lot of wind) and gets stuck right in front of me AND RIGHT BESIDE MY BUDDY!! So I drive by, pull up to his window and say "Its your lucky day, I'm here to pull that guy out" Pulled around his front, threw a chain under, give 'er a tug and he's out. Cruise down the range road and spin around, pull over to the side, slap on the chains and get pulling. Drag him about 20 feet, he rolls backwards, hits THE DITCH ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD, so I say "fuck it, hammer down" and drag him another 20 feet before he gets back onto the road. He slides back, kisses a guys trash cans on the opposite side of the road and nearly takes out his mailbox.... all the while hes sitting idling in his car I toss him a wave, he waves, all in a days work!
