Well no shit if your fuel price doubles. Difference between 2.09 and 2.11 is so small I don't care and will still go to the nice Kwik Trip regardless of price
over 40 gallons a 5 cent difference is $2 but for example going from regular to premium can be the difference between a nice lunch that day or being stuck with a can of sardines and 2 slices of bread
Lately the golf has been a bit louder This is the problem the older 1.4s have and some newer too
I changed the plugs on the Civic after like 7500 miles and they were drenched in oil from the shitty rocker seals since the spark plug tubes go through the cam caps and the valve covers. Looked okay but the cylinders look nasty as shit so seafoam is in it's future again. Tried changing out the drivers side mount and trans mount but the drivers post mount's welded retard nut is broken and I leverage so much into it that I pick the car up off the jackstands and twist the motor in a very unhealthy way. I got the trans mount just fine and easy but this one's gonna take a big impact to just ruin the shit out of it. Why Honda decided the post mount on this car should include a welded nut and a bolt instead of having two or three studs on the post mount like every other single Honda ever pisses me off, and on top of that why they only decided to weld nuts here... I just don't understand how to deal with things that don't come apart. Broken fasteners and rusty bolts totally stump me. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/2016-09-20%2022.21.27.jpg[/t] Here's also why we don't buy MasterPro/Parts store brand parts! This bellow didn't last 500 miles before ripping, I thought getting a small crack wasn't a big deal but here's every damn rib cracked entirely though after 20k miles, I'm surprised it still holds shape. :v: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/2016-09-20%2021.12.00.jpg[/t] I really want to take it back and request a refund lmao, paid $16.99 for this fucking garbage and Honda only charges $21.
So they aren't using the laser ignition from the 16x?
Little update: mazda confirm HCCI in the 'RX9' engine. They claim to have solved emissions and fuel consumption issues in the new skyactiv-r engine. They are also developing range extenders for hybrids to be introduced after the 'RX9'. Mazda claim to have nailed HCCI and plan to introduce it into piston and rotary engines. Will post sources when im at home. Things are looking very up for the rotary if all goes to plan, especially on the hybrid front [editline]21st September 2016[/editline]
Lately the golf has been a bit louder This is the problem the older 1.4s have and some newer too [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/YRh3FFd.gif[MG]
Please dont post gifs like this

I hope they use more triangles in the interior design.
Should I go for it? It also looks like a neat truck to work on. How good is this classic Patrol?

Manuals are great, but to be honest, in a heavy offroading vehicle, auto is the way to go. No igniting your clutch trying to get unstuck or pulling someone out, unless you have a low range.
On a scale of 1 - 10 , how stupid would it be to get a M5 S62B50 V8 engine? (400hp, 5 litre) instead of the S54 3L 342hp. Price wise they are pretty much the same.
Which one is physically smaller?
S54, it's a straight 6.

[editline]21st September 2016[/editline] they also have a naturally high oil consumption rate - was just a thing with that engine

Is there any way to find a title? There's an MK3 supra for sale that supposedly runs well near me but the guy doesn't have the title. I can get it for wicked cheap because of that but would like to be able to drive it.
what state are you in? I might be able to find info on bonded titles in your state
I am in Georgia. I haven't checked out the car yet but could get the VIN if need be.
not worth it in georgia. the fee is double the market value of the car at a $5000 minimum. ie a $5000 car becomes a $15000 car, or a $20 car becomes a $5020 car.
Is the title not just lost? Can you not file for a lost title?
you'd have to get the person who lost the title to file for a lost title.
Hmm. Well that kinda sucks. Though I do have to register it in Maine since that's where my home address is. I'm in GA for school. Neither of which I believe I need a title to register.
you could probably also buy it and try to get it titled like an abandoned vehicle. see if you can convince your boss to let you park it at work for a month [editline]21st September 2016[/editline] and I don't know if either georgia or maine hold title hearings but you may be able to get it done that way. it's cheaper but it's a bit of a hassle
Tell that to v8 Supercars. You just need something woth really high compression.
Kinda like how NASCAR uses a 12:1 SBC? Anything can make power with good compression and forged EVERYTHING.
I want a CRX. I want a shitbox to drive back and forth from work that gets good mileage but also be fun to drive.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/LWENv5N.jpg[/t] for what purpose ?
Tell that to v8 Supercars. You just need something woth really high compression.
and they'd still make more power on something like sunoco ex02
Just what NASCAR needs - more Sunoco advertising.
I want a CRX. I want a shitbox to drive back and forth from work that gets good mileage but also be fun to drive.
Get a EF Civic over the CRX, CRX's are overpriced and come with far more bits and quirks which break and are hard to find replacements for like the climate control or body panels. The EF Civic is the same car but fits 4 adults comfortably with a slightly longer wheelbase.
I used to really hate Honda but after really looking into what they can do, those old Civic's, integra's, etc are all really impressive and tempting second vehicles for me.
